Don't get me started...... One word: Norfolk!
These pics are of a pub where I spent many a drunken evening in the 70's. I visit for old times sake every time I'm in the UK (still have friends in Norfolk).
Castle Acre used to be the 'perfect' Norfolk village (ruined Priory, castle, town wall and gate, village green, decent church, pubs). The 'Ostrich' used to be a local - now its been tarted and become an eatery to cater to the more affluent set. Sign of the times, I guess. Nevertheless, its still a fine old 16th century coaching inn under that veneer.
