Thanks to you to take time reading it and appreciate. Long process than I thought, mainly because I have to translate a lot of "french" expressions and try to find the best correlation , not in terms of exactitude, but rather feeling... ) Still have 70 % to write ... So let's eat some birthday cake and type at night :).
Alaska, Texas, New Zealand, etc... I have to visit all these places !!!

On my way to Broadway, (? sure ?) I was looking at houses with metal roofs painted in deep blue. I love that ! Always burnt a fuse in this so "old" Europe with architectural fascist regulation. No way to even change a window " because you are 8 km from a famous old trash of stones classified " Diversity, contrast are not allowed.. They hammer home your head day and night with the same words for people , but we have to live in the same stupid brown houses with standard red roofs, because, because ? They should go to Bucarest, where a wood house can stand in between a modern building intentionally built like the "Tour de Pise" and a 19th century French style villa :)

Enjoying the scenery, other part of my brain was smoking about how people just assume everything as it came to them in a "divine " way. Even for laws which are made by people like you or me. Years go on and lots of things : regulations, laws, become a divine and unwavering commandment... The ultimate pretext being "Tradition". OK friends, my Tradition is to play drums at 11 pm in the streets ! ;) I was pleased to find on my path some crazy houses and will always remember, in the middle of nowhere, a small house with big palm trees in green fluorescent plastic on both sides of the small gate :) A total kitschy Andy Warhol modern art ! And how to give up of all these wood houses with warm and multicolored paint ....

Mother Russia : From the first day, I had this feeling of freedom of space , freedom of " I don't care about how I do it, how I'm seen, I'm just doing it" This mix in between historical disease fatality giving a mood contrasting with the strong character, able to stand anything, in a survival way. If I can resume , I will just use this word : Strenght. In lots of domains.

Did I drink vodka ?? No ? Did I was with people drinking a lot ??? No ! Did I slept in old dusty flats and bad condition N . No ! Each country has many different social strata... And I like to surf in between , to be short, the rich and the poor, as the way you travel can give you a complete different perception of a country. Speaking about perception, it's always funny to compare our motorbike trips with the "I take the taxi, the plane, the taxi, the hotel, the center town restaurants, the sea side, the monuments, the taxi , the plane, I'm back home" of your friends...
I'm used to say to people asking me if I saw this monument, this place and why choose back countries roads ? : I will do it at 80 years old with a bus tour
Maybe . ( no way, if I can go in a bus tour, I can ride too a beta x trainer or a 125 or a moped !)

For that, real couch surfer people seem to be the must for us. They use to travel with same mentality : mainly discover and meet people, or at least " feel " the country. and they take the risk to open their house to "time" traveler...

After the rage episode against regulations in my brain, I was now remembering the good times with Mirek in Poland, Karl in Latvia and Svetlana & Maxim in Yaroslavl . Target locked Alpha Bravo ! Main goal on the way , Delta Tango ! A motorbike trip with new people, new point of view, and surely good long term friends for most of them.
Family pic stolen from their facebook ;)

Runswithscizzors, I would like to ride all the fantastic places in USA.. And I know too that cliché and perception of European people on this country are the same bullshit story than for Russians too... Medias, presstitute, manipulation... :(
Came in USA in 1970, at age 14. Land in JF Kennedy airport New York alone, waiting for the family to pick me up.... Had the blast of my life. New York, Washington, green Vermont, etc... Running on bicycles in Princeton streets to go buy and spend all my money on vinyls in a crazy music shop. Then pedal bike like mad every day to the radioshack place, amazed by all electronic kits and components ...

Merlin44, one thing for sure is that I enjoyed every minute, whatever anxiety, pain , and all human body misery. As long as we can stand up, walk and ride a bike, how could we complain :)

Going out of muddy road, I reached tarmac ( a sort of...) and even a gas station. Gave 500 rubles, but change back show 100 rubles were missing. So, in the usual sign language, I started to explain to girl that, no way, I'm not a stupid tourist and that she won't take me for a fool just because she saw my foreign plate... After 5 minutes of impossible communication, and still wondering if she intentionally did the trick or not, I took a paper and made the very difficult mathematical operation of 500-245 rubles to show her the mistake.

Same time she did it o her side and I just laughed when she show me the result to proudly confirm I was wrong. Ok girl, you didn't have a good math teacher ! ( me too but thanks to my sister who with immense patience made me practice my multiplication table for days. Well, still the 7, 8 and 9 multiply are slow ! You said 8*7 ? So you know my birthday date ?)

At this point the manager came and just explained her that, no, definitively, she won't have a Nobel price.... Mental calculation is faster, girl... an obsolete activity, now. She gave me back 100 with a smile... BTW, I started a month ago to learn by heart phone numbers when I discovered I wasn't even able to remember one, thanks to smartphone memory habit ! Otherwise, I'll end as road worker in some Russian underground cave... ( with all respect due to this hard work profession !)

You can appreciate on this pic that, with a merinos underwear, two t shirt , a soft shell, a electric jacket and my leather jacket, I still felt cold in this closed place, and put a brown ski one found in a second hand shop in Izhevsk...

Now, getting back lots of small value coins from paper money from all gas stations , I had pocket full of heavy metal, and should take time to use it !

Then a strange process came . I was in middle of a village and saw a lada guy running after me. Slowing at a cross street, he asked me if I needed some fuel and will show the gas station. I never have enough fuel, even if there's just 3 liters only to fulfill my tank. Place was great, the really old one style with octane 80 , blue pumps, and the turning hand crank. As usual, he asked where I was going, and as usual show me the road, which, as usual again, was not the one I had to ride... Four more times in some small towns, guys made same process this day . Did I start to look like a lost offshore guy, searching for my oil platform ?.

The ideal early September was still there and the cheap Decathlon pocket rain cover was perfect, as usual.

Whispering to O ear, H2 still had faith !
"One day, you will be mine...
    One day I 'll make a story from our love ( Histoire d'O ? ;) )
We will flow like lovers on a sea of endorphins"

Strange because it seemed that H2 already met O !
Still amazed , even after decades of life, that two fornicating gas could make a liquid... Well, not so surprising, at the end. hum hum ;)
    But considering his selfie :

I came to two conclusions :
1/ This guy had small balls. Must run bike under cold rain long time, for sure !
2/ His reproduction tool seems to be hot !

Thinking about some similitude,:D I switch on the phone, saw that , ( as usual ), I won't make in time to find my couch surf address and with the 1% battery charge, just let it die like guys on artificial breathing assistance machine switched of by the maid making some room cleaning and in need to plug in her vacuum cleaner, not forgetting to plug in the machine again, after her work... ( authentic story and some killed before hospital elucidated at the end the mysterious deaths!)

I was driving fast now, under light rain, trying to avoid lots of radars boxes on ground level plugged to "civil" cars on road side; mainly because I started to be totally fed up by the carburetor problem and that I had no more food and not enough money to buy some all day long. So I approached Izhevsk pretty early , by the lake side and having check the couch surf place on Google earth before leaving home, I made my way trying to follow the more or less North / North East indication . But I soon realized that Izhevsk was a lot bigger than what I thought. A real big town, in fact , with relief too ! Now completely lost, I tried plan B : took the smartphone, pull out the removable battery ( give e the most expensive phone in the world, I won't take it if it's a fixed battery in) and put it in ... well you can imagine where was the hottest part of my body now :) . Two guys on pedestrian looked at me strangely but after I gave them the " it's cold" sign , hitting my chest with cross arms, they laugh and made the thumb up ! :) Let's fast put back the battery ! Yes , 2 % I can make it. I wrote the 4 main streets , some indication, and here we go Babar !!!!

In all this non sense no preparation no time before trip, I still cared to take my trusty waterproof papers !!! Not the same but give you a link of another in case of : Https://www.waterproofpaper.com/

A quite simply irreplaceable thing. The best to ask your way, and I'm using it for every move. Using metal photo lab clothespin fixed on my right mirror.

I just used to make every day in Cyrillic a list of main villages and towns, on or near the path. Then stop at a traffic light near a driver door's window, make a hello sign and point the name. I always put down the phonetic to be able to say it too. in case of hurry , I had a white marker and just wrote on the fuel tank in big letters name of the destination. Stopping near any truck driver, I just had to point finger at my tank . Using his view from directly above, he always was able to understand my needs. It was a very fast process allowing me to have indications before light went green.

So same process. and I was near the couch surf building in no time.

But Liubov who kindly accepted my request warmed me before to call her,, as she will be working late. Call ? No phone so came my first tentative to ask someone in the street to use his phone. And at end of the trip, I must confess I was really good at that. I would even need a phone at all :) A guy kindly called her and told me in broken English that she will be there in 10 min.. Greaaaaaat ; 10 min later , Liubov came from her dental work. Hum hum , dentist who meets a biker full of mud and water, boots full of jig saw chain oil . Hope she won't be too much afraid. Now she insists to help me bring my backpacks in her flat, but I refuse, considering the level of dust on it.... Bike unloaded, I park it down building near a lockable tube.

The flat was brand new and modern, a big contrast compared to the old style building . As soon as I put down my luggage, she gave me a key of her flat, so I could go in / out any time! Amazing trust . I split my things in three parts : the wet ones in corridor , my clothes backpack in living room (thanks to its white waterproof texture cleaned and washed by rain :) ) and the INFAMOUS top case on balcony . Yes !! The top case was still not cleaned and I succeed to bring it in horizontal position to the flat :)

So a little dedication to Liubov who was totally fan of pumpkins :

I ate pumpkins, I drank pumpkins, dreams of pumpkins for a few days !

Time to contact Kirill, check some mails and the so slow facebook, since I started to chat and post with Russian friends...No comment... well.. :

The total robotic spying of FB is useful to find something. Just type to a friend in the PRIVATE messenger chat " a garage door with automatic opening" . you will have some suggestions on your wall before the next hour :) It just makes me laugh how hysterical people are about their "private" life but rely now on a Smartphone in which they put anything concerning bank accounts, phones and private information. The Sm-ass-fart-phone that any good well equipped guy can crack in one minute.... And now banks want you to pay just by aerial NFC and people do it. !!! What a joke... Soon or later we will walk in a shop and looking at something , just think " I want it" Bingo , neuronal microchip implant will process bank transfer... I 'm from the prehistoric time, programming ZX81, commodore 64, Atari 520, fantastic Acorn RISK machine . We used to have logic real time analyzers and spent some days to see how easy it was to hack the chip cards... Now they 're going to remove cash, like very soon in Sweden... Let's do a business and put hidden NFC automatic fuel systems for advriders all around the world :)

During night I was making some pumpkin philosophy in my mind :Even if I always force myself to stay informed, go deep in new technological process, to know how it works and what we will be able to do if situation becomes even worse, the frightening future is coming, for sure, already described in science fiction novels : There will be, at the end , slave near robotic people in towns, and some rebels in woods. I'm sure that these woods will be full of bikes :) One reason more to ride, my friends ! From the Harley guy who put his leather after a full week of bank work, to the Goldwin guy and his 200 watts stereo, not considering some orange guys ploughing in deep woods , and white leather racers kissing tarmac with their knees, we all belong to the same family, a community . The family who will live hidden in woods, telling stories of the mad max movies myth to their kids at evening before sleep and debate endlessly around the campfire about the myth or reality of an electronic forum said to be named ADV. Some will still try over and over to find the proof, desperately reassembling little black and white parts torn apart, just being able toget non sense letters like "FYYFF"...But what about this dusty plush Babar near a rusty handlebar ???

Time to go down street to meet Kirill who by the way, had tempest and tons of water going back Russia from Budapest last August . The BABAR proximity effect ?

So now I need to buy a sim card, Russian 3G with gigas of datas for one month being cheap.

Of course, as in every phone shop in every western part of the world, guys in charge are totally suckers. They know nothing, just want to sell you the package giving them the best benefit. They have high self-esteem , because like a clever monkey trained 8 years in a laboratory, they are able to go through some colored buttons on touch screens driven by operating systems which brings you back in the 80's...I was lost in my thoughts, waiting for the next step and see them proudly demonstrate in 2019 that, yes, the new android "pumpkin" OS is multitask. amazing, but if you choose an apple, take car, you won't have pumpkin OS, as apples and pumpkins don't make good

    cooking...

Kirill took a sim card on his name. fastest process . Thanks Kirill I will use my sim card in Hungary , bills will directly come to you :) Short joy ... " It's in my name but as soon as you cross border, I will shut down the sim card" . Me with still some hopes ;) : " oh you can do that in remote ?" Then came the ultimatum : " Of course !"

I tested the sim card, and made just one ring call to my wife's Hungarian number and switched it off. A fast 2 sec test. Immediately money on sim account starts to go down like a KLR600 on a motocross ring ... Yes , say the "I'm the best until some robot will take my place", you ring , you pay... Okayyyyy Let's move on !

Of course, except for an afternoon, everything was done under rain.

It was so nice to ride in town with no throttle control and I was scaring everybody on street with my front brake. A 1215 wagons long train desperately trying to stop, all iron wheels locked. No need to sue the horn in case of : Just brake lightly and came the monster cry ,then the strident song. It started to be a joke : coming slowly behind Kirill's bike and catch Helene's attention :) Someday I will find the missing steel plate which pushes against the side of pad to avoid noise...

    My trusty decathlon raincoat became a nightmare. NO zip and impossible to pull out by the head, sticking wet on humid leather jacket . So Kirill had to help me each time, just to put it back after 5min to check another place , looking for some bicycle brake cables, gearbox oil for the chain lube, etc... I had to do something : With all these clothes I was feeling colder and colder;;

He brought me to a clothes and equipment for pro guys working outside.

I wish I had some money : crazy duffle coats and jackets , in which you could stand -40° Well done, as ordinary fashion clothes.... Will come back to do my market for me and family, for sure !

But I was there for rain system. there was blue one but not my size (especially my BIG size with all the clothes on me) . only one orange fluo , same as road workers. My snobbish atrtiude at this time stopped me to buy it, but after 2 days, I just came back to the shop. I didn't care anymore about the look and I will tell you more later on my joy to bought it !!!

In the meantime we came to a second hand shop (thanks Kirill) and I found for some rubles a thermo pad jacket that I stacked upon the others... Super Michelin bibbendum !

    let's explore the city

I had to fix my bike and go to Kirill's garage which in these few days in Izhevsk became my second home. I really enjoyed all time spent there, I will tell you about, but there always was in my mind the same jingle : " will my bike bring me back home ?". I really had to seriously check the carbs and fix the lights.

    Here we are :

First change throttle cables. I made big mistake. Fed up by 20 times of pullin off/ on the carbs before the trip, which meant lots of stupid hours because of a stupid design, I didn't want to touch them. And as susceptible the YSDL carb is, I could even be stopped there definitively.

I knew that membranes were ok. The control cone was sliding , going up down without problem. let's adapt new throttle cables using bicycle brake cables. Going back town, all was perfect and smooth? I overtook Kirill and in my immeasurable joy put full throttle.... Now it was REALLY full throttle and I was near to cross the red light at end of the road. Ok no more full throttle. At least , I had some control in the low revs :)

Let's check the chain.. Hum hum.. . I was at around 80 % of the tension screw... The front sprocket after 5000 km was half worn out. Front tire had stairs profile, in two opposite ways. Strange...

Air filter ?? ok ! Amazing but good point on the Yamaha side.

And pulling out the tank, I checked the tap, still looking for the back fire lean reason... Fuel was running down ,all ok ... I pull down the tank and saw the exhaust of tap from under. There was some cotton in it. Cleaning it, I discovered a lot of fibers . Fuel was coming out in between these strange things when testing but more flow solicitation was stopping it. I realize that it was the wrapping tissue used inside the rubber fuel hose. No more back fire, better idle, but no way to find now at time a smaller main jet , and even open this psychopath carb.

Saturday came and let(s go back to the garage.

Kirill had to finish the paint process of his side car. His painting making bubbles and reaction with the already sanded and prepared surface , I suggested to tchernoblize the surface before any new tentative. So let's go buy some ACETONE. Not a really common product ( even totally impossible to find in Hungary) but after giving his passport he was allowed to buy one bottle. Hey, guy let's buy 2 bottles and i'll bring one in Hungary ! Back to garage, I started to fix the lights problem. There was ground loop somewhere and a conventional plug of the H4 low / high beam was impossible... Kirill, which,by the way made electric and current engineering diploma at university, unholstered his ultimate weapon : a big solder ! Now things came on Russian side : indestructible soldering on big contacts. OK, now we speak seriously. I'm more used to the 90 % pure silver process with controlled temperature solder station ! :)

In the mean time, I temporarily minimized the full throttle problem :
it worked a little bit better, but needed a Schwarzenegger right hand now !
But I will later have to suffer a bigger problem on my way back...

It was time to visit some places :)

Let's go to visit the IZH motorcycle museum created by Kirill and his friends...
wikipedia :"The first IZh motorcycle was 1928's IZh 1, a 1200cc across-the-frame V-twin with shaft drive, designed by the Soviet engineer Pyotr Vladimirovich Mokharov (1888–1934). They "owed a little" to contemporary DKWs. In the 1970s and 1980s, these motorcycles were sold in Britain under the Cossack and Neval brands. The company was the largest Soviet motorcycle maker.Production of Izh motorcycles ended in 2008.

Helen who made french studies was my guide. all in my mother's language :) With Kirill, they are guides for the Museum and others famous places. Alone or in group, feel free to ask them !!! They will take you by the hand and explain everything in English, Russian or French...

Museum was great . lots of explanations and scenery , with a perfect historical progression of the IZH bikes production, events , etc...

Then came the time to achieve the real target of my trip...
Last year I lost, not only my best friend, but my soul brother...Noel
We knew each other since teenagers, he was a fine drummer and music composer. It was an unbearable grief.... Not because I won't no more laugh at his crazy smile and energy, but will really now sail on an empty ocean...We used to have crazy situations together and knew that everybody would treat us as mythomaniac guys, not believing one word of our stories and crazy lifes. But our stories were true, we could testify to each other.... The way of thinking, the common energy of drumming, the never give up attitude.. Now Captain Babar, you really have to go on and enjoy some new friends all around the world. People who will just not judge me, but accept me as I am, full package ...

Thanks NONO, for 45 years of complicity :)

ra ka ta ka ka ta ka ta !!!
Jumping on our bikes like john Wayne on his trusty honda, we moved to another unknown place. I had to give up, because Kirill likes to make surprises, and I'm more on the Hitchcock side. I prefer to know the crime scene before, and then appreciate.
So let's see some church :

    then go to a museum...

Kirill went to buy tickets and asked me about my passport AND driving licence. Boring ! why my do they need my driving licence ??? grrrrrrrrrrrrrr

We went downstairs by small corridor and then it was :
    the Kalashnikov shooting range...

Of course, without any glasses, I shot in the fog and made a really bad score :(
Next time I come my my crossbow !!!!

I was explained that in Russia , you have a psycho test for the driving license exam. So they ask the driving lenine-science to be sure about your mental health before giving you a Kalashnikov....

Thanks to Kirill and Helène fro this great day !!!!

Sunday ( and not Sun-day of course)
Liubov invited me to a barbecue on the country side to a friend's house...
    Lest' go Babar.
So here I ma in the middle of nowhere in a charming wood house, with two women.Weather is rainy and we're gonna make a barbecue ??
Of course Mother Russia ! What could stop Liubov to make a barbecue under the light rain !

After a delicious lunch, I was asked to fix the bania's lights. Ok let's check electricity of the sauna house. Not good, my Komrad : strange wiring... I made the best possible and went back to house. Then heard some voice outside "don't be shy !!! Join us in bania !!! "
Shy ??? One more nude bear in Russia shouldn't be a problem for two women alone !

Eyes burnt by the hot vapor, after now around 90 hours opened visor in the cold rain :)

So I crossed the garden in light rain and 6° C, as nude as a guy's bank account, who just bought the full catalog of real adventure accessories. Used to live in 24° Celsius at home in winter, it was my first Russian attitude...
Going inside the bania, the two nude women show me where to sit in the little cabin ( very little if you see what I mean) and throw away some water on live coals.. First round...Nice !! Second round , still nice... Third round : Eyes totally killed by the steam :( But now came the fun factor : Be beaten by the branches. And wondering if the so hard way to do it was just an usual tradition, or just because of two frustrated women who couldn't take advantage of a Satyr ;)
Then we had some "washing" with gross grain salt, then another round, but I don't correctly remember, maybe with some honey milk or whatever...
Liubov , in her funny authoritative style, sent me to have a long rest in a room. And 5 min later, was shouting from downstairs that we have to go now...:imaposer
    And by car
    bania babar
    skin full of nectar..
Please, Babar, we already told you to shut up, little push tyke !

    Then, some Shakespeare ? :

But when from highmost pitch, with weary car,
Like feeble age, he reeleth from the day,
The eyes, 'fore duteous, now converted are
From his low tract and look another way

Back in town, Kirill and Helene picked me up for some evening run...
We came to abandoned factory, running down to some parking corridors.
I really love to ride bike in apocalyptic places, in the dark, at night:rilla
Real fun, too short for me, then we parked in front a garage box, transformed in workshop :

    and met some nice guys.
Going outside we moved to a bigger place under development. Guys had already excavated a lot, due to the short ceiling height of past garages.
So, maybe some help ? :
But under control of a administrative prison manager ( not kidding about the guy profession !)

After this hard labor, we had to refer to the big chief !
    and take some rest :

This nice guy had some drum set on place . I planned to give him some advice, but you know, we, drummers, never stop. Like a dog with a stick, give us a pair of sticks and here we go :) So it took more than the original 3 minutes...
( I will post the movie if Helene succeed to upload the video she made)

After a peaceful moment, it was time to go back Izhevsk.

I switched my WG1 ricoh cam on my helmet to make some road movie. Then put it in one of my pocket, and... never found it at home... Lost in the wind :( . So now can definitively forget about UTUB adventurer movies to track some sponsors !

Seeing Kirril riding his Africa twin, behind a big wind shield made me envious... for one minute... Even frozen by the cold and humid wind, I just enjoyed the full point of vue I had in front of me, without anything in between my eyes and the road :) Wish I had my big red pig..... brooaaaaaaaaaaaaap

    Runwithscizzors, Neppi, many thanks !!!
Both destinations are one my list ! I 'm first gonna practice some cross-enduro training during our winter, to kill bad habits, and more on the heavier side, with the Xr BRP, to easily use Uturn slow wheelies and others trial tricks.
But now you have plant the seed !! temptation... I hate you :)
Gonna check plane tickets costs tonight, and check costs of bike process : flying my bike, or bike on place and rent or buy/selling one...
    Any infos are welcome !
Would love to have some pics of your playground in MP too ...

I always dreamt too, to make some stunt ( not spectacular but slow pendulum one ) As soon as I find good health assurance for maybe some broken bones, I'll go see some young guys on parking ;) gonna be interesting to see their reaction in front a motivated dinosaur :)

So, to be short, busy schedule !

On monday night, I had a notification about leaguoo phone to download a update of their new OS. Let's do it ! all fine, no more overlayed android buttons and menus. The n I had tp call. no more phone process available. Her we go. had to make a hard reset factory and of course loose all my maps, for kurviger, Magic earth Navigator, Maps me and others... So I started a new download but didn't found usable big maps for Western Russia. The usual 2 gigas file was a no way to download.. This zone had been cut in many small files. It was time now to seriously study all oblasts along my way back.. Took me full night to more or less reinstall something working. I could use my maps, but they were somewhere on a trail between Okulovka and Yaroslavl... Tuesday morning, decision was made to leave early the next day . Loosing half a day to reorganize my new couch surfing schedule, I realized that , maybe, maybe... It would be a good idea to take care of my top case :) . Liubov at work, it was time to open the Pandora's box and clean everything, on the small balcony full of pumpkins. Oh dear Acetone, you were helpful in the process. I transferred rest of acetone in a oil bottle, aware of maybe customs problems. All good now, I drove with Kirill to Auchan buy some food for the road...

To be short, some orange juice, lots of cheese, cookies and chocolate. And black wax to waterproof a little my now tired leather jacket.. All stuff in Kirill's top case for rest of the day, we went to the post send a lot postcards to friends, as I didn't want to use the virtual network to send some stupid electronic postcards. Riding back and to avoid some traffic jam , Kirill jumped on the garss side of the tramway line. I didn't follow him as my red light flashed : Human factors my friend, you made until now, you leave tomorrow, no way to take risk to slide down on cars or on railroad.. pussy time :)

Then souvenir's shop and we said our goodbye on front building we met first time, after taking bags of food and wax from top case. (not a good idea !)
Time to pack everything, thank a lot Liubov who was supposed to offer me only one night.... But all these bike/garage work made me refuse the other couch surf offer. Who will trust me to give me his flat key and I could move as I wish ???
    Thanks a lot Liubov !!!

Back on road . I Chose to go more North, avoiding infamous M7
First plan was the long loop by Georgia, but too expensive and time consuming.
Second original plan for this short trip was to go back South Moscow and cross by Ukraine
In the meantime I succeed to join Piotr fro Augustow, Poland, who rehabilitates bee trees hive.
The old technique when Bees were living their life at top of trees :)
I plan to produce a movie documentary on this activity, so I jumped on occasion to meet and discuss
I had more or less to take the same way back, not able to cross by Bielorussia. I managed to choose differents routes , of course,
but in the hurry, I was not able to find next couch surfers. Kindly Chebokasry and Yaroslval opened again their arms for me !!

I took the road, on rain, and colder than before... I stopped in a gas station totally frozen, paid the fule , acting like zombie, the I heard a voice "Hello you did it ???" me "euh ????" " Yes you come fro Izhevsk ???" Then I "identify" the kind woman who gave table, chair and accommodations when i was on my way first... I try to take small roads, lost my way many times. But sun was coming back !!! So nice to feel warmer ... Once I stopped in front of a big indication. Soon a car stopped, the opposite side, abus stopped, then a truck behind, then a minibus... automobile exhibition in the middle of no where. Everybody wanting to help, take some pics, giving food and ... apples of course !

If you carefully take a look at the pic, you can see some cut yellow rope . My 15 meters had been eaten by rear wheel. I took me around one hour on roadside to pull it out of the hub....
