The clock tower makes me think of Philadelphia, so that would be my guess, but I'm not too familiar with its skyline.

An '81 550 Seca! Haven't seen one of those is a long time. How many miles on it? I wonder who still has a YICS shut-off tool.

It's got 4400 miles on the clock.

    I've got my YICS tool.

Even in the night, this bike looks new, complete, and original.

It is. Still have the tool kit, pouch, owners manual, and silly little chain lock.

^^ I was a Yamaha dealer in those years and that was one of my favorites, kudos for finding and keeping one in that condition. :thumb

Man that would be great I'd love to see it, as I'm sure would others. We're at Don Juan's on San Jose now if you hadn't seen the change (small world, who knew) : )

My two favorites then were the Seca 550 and Seca 650, that little 550 could rev to the moon (for those days). I also liked the XV920R and Vision 550 but we couldn't give them away, along with the 650. I called em showroom stalactites. The 550 was better but we'd only get maybe 6 or 7 a year. Seca 750's, Maxim 650's, and Virago 750's flew out the door, I was constantly running out and had to get them from surrounding small town dealers, crazy!
