Easy as cake ride. Start at Silverado and follow the trail up over 4 Corners to Bedford rd and down into Corona. It's about 90 minutes on the bike

We'll meet at Hell's Kitchen at 9:30. Ride to Santiago Peak - have a picnic lunch. After, people can decide what route(s) they want to ride. Currently, Indian TT is open, you can ride to Beek's Place (then have to turn around) or.....

Look at post #84 in this thread and that is an approximate map of the run as close as I could remember when BrokenDownXR and I ran it.

Sorry guys, I'm out for this weekend. The wife has an appointment so I get to stay home with the crumb snatchers.

If you ever want to hit a little dirt let me know. I don't have a plated bike, but I'd go ride some dirt roads with you. I'm just at the Intersection of Lake Elizabeth Rd and 25th west in Palmdale

Ok, so we're all on the same page...June 1st will be this ride, correct?

Myself and BrokenDownXR will come up from the OC (Santiago Canyon) side.

It'll be warm so everyone should carry water so you don't get dehydrated. Anyone with street-ish tires should make sure to pace themselves as some portions are a little rocky, but manageable if you pick a careful line.

If you choose to air down for the trail I have my mini compressor wired off of my bike and can help you air back up before hitting the slab.

How long have you been riding?

The tiger with street tires is suitable only for smooth dirt roads, air down to 22-23lbs if you need traction. You need a way to air back up.

I'm sure it would make it over Santiago mountains but would be a challenge for a noob. The bike is heavy. New guy on one in DV this year broke his foot.

Hook up with Kalitrailrider, he's got a new one as well, experienced rider but new on road.

Not to 'jack the thread, but there are quite a few area XC owners here. Could be a meet up ride. We had four of us on the Carrizo-Pozo ride in Jan this year. The terrain got pretty challenging - mud, snow and ice, etc. :huh
