Mr Egg has been in my yard and my phone number is in the RAN.
Well all, I am back from my adventure and will place the tag tomorrow. As you can see from my full route, I drove 7,000 miles in 13 days. I knew the egg was close to my intended route back east and every day I assumed I would see that post informing me that my plans were foiled. Luckily, the egg was placed in the middle of nowhere at the county, state, and national level, and I was apparently safe from being bruced.

The egg seems to have brought me luck in a rally this weekend. Without the egg the previous weekend at the LOE 1000, I placed 41st of 45, and high sided while driving down a dirt road at 35 mph. With the egg, I placed 2nd among Georgia starters at the Void 5 rally.
I will warn you about the egg's new location. It will be surrounded by a large number of tag playin' FF's and I don't think it will be there long.... I have already given you a clue as to where that will be, the tri-county area can be found on the edges of the SMIB sticker in my original grab, and the state flag colors are the background.
Fabulous ride Flagg...looks like it'll be within reach of any interested FF's "North of Richmond"
La Plata, Hhhmmm?

Less than 50 yds down the road...
As the Maryland tag thread has noticed, SMIBs are voracious taggers and like to keep it in the family. I wouldn't be surprised to see this move quickly around the major landmarks in the three county area over the next few weeks...
There is a pile of gray bricks bearing 030 degrees relative when facing and standing right in front of the statue:
Here is the view standing behind the pile of bricks looking back towards the memorial:
That should just about cover it other than I think there is too much crap in the "geocache" like grab bag that accompanies the egg.
Great Grab & Drop there Eric!!!
however...do feel free to 'lighten the load' at your discretion.
Well as Eric said it will probably move around pretty quickly for a while.
I'm surprised it took that long Bruce!
Well I did put it as far away from his house as possible and while still keeping it in SMIBville...
I do not think you gave appropriate credit to Dorito in your last post...
I didn't either, even though I saw the actual Dorito in the picture.
That's ok, we all know who's the brains in the bunch
Well in his defense, the MD TOR was posted in the middle of his documentary of the egg. Since we had to tack up the horses, call weapons from the armory, and draw up the new battle plan---well, let's just say there was a lot going on!
Last winter/spring, I twice had to post in the Canadian and California regional groups when the egg languished in each, trying to get people to move it.
NOT in Maryland!
This is THE HOME to Midnight Tagging, where if you're not out the door within minutes of a tag getting posted, your name is likely getting changed to Bruce!
You say it like its a bad thing....
Mr Egg enjoys using his crown at his last meal before going camping again.
After careful inspecting Mr Egg, he was properly adorned with another Tat
Seeped in military history, this location has served in at least two wars. The most notable of all the uses, it currently holds the title as the largest North American (possibly world) ship graveyard.
PS The last 1/2 mile is county maintained, packed gravel road.

However, you mid-night taggers will probably only get to see this, as there is an access gate 0700 to dusk.
Dusk is apparently near 1900ish...
Mr Egg is accessible 24-hrs a day. As you turn off the the tarmac, you will see two parking areas. Park in the one on the left. About 30 feet from where the gravel begins, and 30 feet into the woods. You will find a pile of concrete. He is under the largest piece:
The last thing Mr Egg saw before being entombed; A nice view of a heavy, wide-ass BMW...
Be forewarned, Mr Egg is co-tagging with the Maryland TOR game, and the speed can be voracious!
Oh, and I put a few of those wonderful SMIB stickers in the package for you out of towners.
I'm actually still at work and that is only 15 minutes down the road....
Actually, after this long of a day, I think I will go to Murphy's pub and have a Guinness instead
Since the tag is in the Southern Maryland area...Someone had to do a night grab...
Mr Egg was rescued from the Wilds of Charles County, specifically Mallows Bay.( Pretty close to N38 28.140 W77 15.802)
We did indeed run into the locked gate as described by the Mr Egg's captors. The KLR being spritely and nimble could have fit through the pedestrian gate but there was no way the GSA was going through..
Following the directions provided via a spotty blackberry connection, we were able to find and extract the objective...
Because of the numerous and dangerous local wildlife (actually had about 12 deer cross in front of us at once during the ride back) and the SMIB trend of having two bikes at the Tag...GS ADV Pilot was recruited to provide support
After a safe extraction and return to "civilization" Mr Egg relaxed with a cup of coffee and contemplated the location for his next tatoo...
GOOD JOB GUYS!
Being in SMIBland, it was clearly not going to languish.
Have an idea for you to consider and first a little history:
This game started February 1, 2009 and HBurgNinja (HBN) introduced the first icon in March '09, Blockhead, while we were all playing with Allie in the VaTOR game. This was when I had the little guy in DC at one point:
Then Blockhead got fumbled, DC fell apart, and...
...CycleJohn rescued Blocky and he now lives in Delco, PA, but in the meantime we got the Funky Chicken:
He was lost in action in May '09.
And Mr. Egg came into play in Post 474. It's strange to see him with absolutely no tatts.
So now it's been over a year and Eggy is running out of skin to tattoo.
Maybe you can give him a short pause to find some nice case that's small but would give new space to put initials and names on? Keep it small enough that when full, it and Eggy can get a slightly larger case to continue?
LONG LIVE EGGO
Sounds like a great idea...Let me see what I can do...
