I haven't driven in DC in over 20 years, never on a bike before and never in SW.

    I wasn't lost. I just couldn't get there from there. :poser:jump

Thanks for the note, rlke, but lets not forget George99 and his epic Rules-be-damned run with My Precious down to Belize, and Sunnytn for rescuing it back to Tennessee. :clap

Where in New Mexico? I'm heading down there next week.

I found enough room on Egg for a new tat.

I removed this and a SMIB sticker from the package.

And added an AMA and Twisted Throttle sticker.

The Egg Drop. From the parking lot you'll see this:

The steps lead to a scenic overlook of the Severn River and the US Naval Academy.

Take note of the top of the monument on the right side of the photo above. This is the monument. This side faces the river.

When viewing the monument from this side there is a small circular sidewalk to the right surrounded by some small shrubs. Here's the circular sidewalk as viewed from the overlook. It is also visible on the left in the first overlook photo. The top corner of the Pearl Harbor Monument is on the right.

inside this circle of bushes are these three monuments.

Egg is behind the one in the center. This one.

The MD WWII Memorial is located approximately 3 miles south of US 50/301 intersection with MD Rt 2(Gov. Ritchie Hwy) in the median of MD Rt 450/Ritchie Hwy.

The small parking lot is closed from dusk till dawn, but the Tag photo and Egg are accessible 24 hours a day. But go there during the day for the view and spend a little time checking out the Memorial.

Thursday November 11 is Veterans Day here in the US. I'd like to thank all the Vets reading this for their service and I'll always remember those that gave the ultimate sacrifice.

New location for Mr Egg!! Sorry for the delay,, normally this wouldn't have taken me 4 whole days but life gets in the way of riding sometimes.

    The tag shot...

After passing the above, continue across the dam and park in front of the gate on the right....

You will see this just beyond the gate....

Walk to the "Trash Policy" sign and turn to you left and you will see a pile of wood in the edge of the forest...

Mr Egg is hidden in some leaves at the top of the pile....

    My apologies.

For some reason my mac isn't loading your pictures. I was thoroughly confused that I didn't see your grab pics, and then I didn't see any drop pictures. I figured out that there were actually pictures there when I checked the thread on my phone. Sorry.
