$40 has gotta 3 tanks of fuel at about 250 miles per tank, that's pretty far.

You gotta go back. :ricky Ol' Blockhead was holding a big PayDay candybar for you!

Aw well, it's probably squirrel food by now.

Seriously, that must've been a heck of a ride and I'm floored by the effort you put in. Anybody willing to ride that far on a thumper has earned the tag!

Let's try not killing the tag players with the tempting treats.

The following was posted by cyclejohn. Now that ol' Blockhead has been recovered, we need to see if we can get him back in the game!

    Bruced again
My daughter and I took a ride from Philly down to the Eastern Neck National Wildlife Refuge to retrieve poor "Blockhead" from under a log there. Blockhead and Payday bar were still there.
While down there, I figured I'd try to snag the Maryland tag. Those little racecars move pretty quick. By the time we got back to PA, I was bruced. Deosn't matter; we had a great day riding. 230 miles this afternoon.

Blockhead is now in suburban Philadelphia. My daughter, Jackie and I rode to Eastern Neck Wildlife Refuge in Maryland to retrieve him. The poor guy was languishing under a log!

We stopped at a Waffle House on the way back to Phila.
Unlike the wildlife refuge, Waffle House is always open.

My camera's date stamp was changed, and I wasn't aware of it.

:clapGreat to see Blockhead was rescued - now don't let him become a dog toy:deal Seeing him again reminds me of the look on the station attendants face when I placed a water bottle and this on the counter for purchase:huh

Sounds like we need an emergency shuttle run to catch BH up with the tag!

Keep BH moving towards New York City! The Tag crew here will show him a good time. :D

If Blockhead can survive a week with my 2 Golden Retreivers and 1 chihauhau, I'll take him for a short trip to NJ. I'm planning on attending the "Joisey T-O-R Roast-A-Que" in Robbinsville on Saturday. I'll put him in the saddlebag in case anyone wants to show him a good time.

I can see Blockhead starting to roam from one state's ToR to another. Kind of an extra prize for border jumpers. Grab the tag and "kidnap" Blockhead. Just another reason to learn about bordering states.

Haha! Blockhead is having a party over there.

Let's try to keep his stuffing in his internals. I know my dog would have all of 5 minutes of fun tearing blockhead apart. But maybe goldens are more gentle.
