Maybe I should have left it in CA!!!
Like it moved out there...
It's 75° up in Lincoln today. 80° south. How much nicer do you folks need it?
For crying out loud am I going to have to ride over and move this thing....
I can't get it tomorrow...I'm going after the Alabama tag....
Post a link when you get it.
OK - I will head up there tomorrow and get it. Of course, now that I wrote that, PWRCRZR will Bruce me.
If it is still around the area at teh end of May, I will bring it to Texas and drop it there. I am riging to Texas the first week of May By way of Chicago, and possibly Denver. Has teh egg ever been to Colorado?
As promised, I got on my Mandarin Mistress, and hauled ass up to The Kanc to rescue our prescious from the Misty Mountains of New Hampshire.
Of course, I had to stop at Dunkins on the way in to get a coffee and size up the Misty Mounts in the background.
I found the egg with no issues, snapped this picture, got on teh bike, and then it started to pour. It poured rain the whole way home. It seems I can't just get the egg, there always has to be rain and long rides.
It was 21 celcius at the bottom of the Kanc and 16 celcius at the egg. Not too bad. The fog was thick as soup, but that made a sort of cool atmosphere. It's a good thing that all the contents were in plastic baggies, the egg was under water from the snow melt and rain. No harm done. I am sure our little friend saw a lot worse over this past winter.
I will get the new tag up this weekend. I plan to get the egg as far away as I can with the time I have available.

We'll call this the "Quote of the Day!!!"
Great job Andy!!
How's that for the quote of the day?
I think it's funny that it's the same exact area I was at in February with the egg. That hot tub picture I took was from a cabin in North Conway. I left it on the shoreline in Connecticut but it made its way back up there pretty fast.
Take your time Gary. Rule #5 has you covered.
Hope you're having a great trip!
I know I shouldn't admit this, but I have to be honest, I was headed to New York, and got as far as Waterbury, Ct when I discoverd I had left the egg on my work bench at home. Still, it was a nice ride. :huh
I love people who admit that they're only human!!!
So where's the new post?
I have a new tire to burn up here.
OK here it is, but I will tell you, this egg and I have some bad friggin JuJu going on. The first time I tried to rescue teh egg last November, I was Bruced twice and ended up going out at 2 am in the pouring November rain down to Mass to get it. Then the little bastard drank all of my good scotch and nearly got me fired.
This time around, I ride up to the Kanc, the weather was beautiful, but the minute I pick up the egg, it starts pouriing.
Then I ride all the way down to Waterbury, CT to drop off the egg, just to find the bastard never got on board.
This brings me to today. I rode through Rain, Wind, Hale, lightning, and worst of all I had to deal with Massachusetts drivers. Finally, the egg is on the road again.
Go get him.
Here is your tag, but not exactly where the egg is located. I was going to stash him right next to this lot, but the security folks kept coming around and giving me dirty looks.
So I rode back out and around a bit. But the weather just kept getting worse, and I was just getting bogged down with the wet gear. So I dropped him here and went to get myself a cranberry and lime soda.
Now you just need the egg to get the tag
Go down and into the parking lot to the right
WOW Andy....they made ya work for this one, 'eh??
Great job with the EGG!!!
GAME ON PEOPLES!!!!
