Well, ALRIGHTY THEN!!!
I have the egg. I'll be riding around for a while. I may drop it while I'm south or bring in back home.
If you want to see where it is you can follow me on my spot. http://share.findmespot.com/shared/faces/viewspots.jsp?glId=0q1RYech9bgIKqFKFDtDZMdjE7BvI9uVB
Eggy needs Medicine (Lodge) ?
Well, I am glad to see Eggy on the move, but isn't there supposed to be a picture that includes your bike?
beat me to the "Punch" on that one....(actually I was waiting for someone else to ask....)
I predict a train wreck approaching!
Those were iPhone pictures. I have others and I'll post but I thought people would like to know it was moving.
Egg right now is living the highlife in Lafayette.
For those that needed a bike and egg picture.
Like throwing egg into the bayou and seeing if it can swim? :eek1
OK....the EGG, and yer bike....check!
but what about the grab photo????
(don't tell us you forgot to take a 'grab' shot!!!???)
That is the best you are getting.
After forgetting the grab shot the went east towards Port Arthur for the night.
First spot for Egg was Sabine Pass Battlefield. Nothing is left of the fort that was build for the War of Northern Aggression. It was fortified again for the Spanish American war and WWII.
Egg went south as far as road went:
Turned around and headed into LA.
As soon as possible EGG did some beach riding:
And then crossed on a ferry near Cameron, LA:
Stopped to check out the Intercoastal Waterway
And then to Abbeville to visit the grave of a Confederate Soldier.
For the night Egg ended up in Lafayette, LA and tried to talk some sense into a liberal:
It was useless, like talking to a rock:
Next stop was for a cold drink
but Egg found some warm company.
I vote that we forgive the absence of a grab shot.
Rode that ferry near Cameron a couple years ago.
I concur on the forgiveness of the grievance!
Nice to see eggy moving! He must have taken a liken to Cajun country, since this is his third visit in as many months!
Hey.....EGGY is on the move again......it's all good!
methinks Ego-O is soon to be placed.....by the looks of the tracker....
I was going to leave Egg a couple of times, once at the end of the road and the other at Fort Jackson but I did not. Egg maybe going home to KCMO.
Egg traveled these last few days. A stop in Breaux Bridge to fight a snake:
Then St. Gabriel Church, the oldest church, 1776, in the Mississippi River Valley.
Something hatched but the Egg is still intact.
We checked out a few plantations.
And then went to New Orleans to meet a niece for dinner. While I dined Egg rested in luxury.
The next morning we left NO as fast as possible but noticed motocross at the Superdome.
Headed south following the Mississippi River. First stop was Fort Jackson:
Stopped by the jail that was used after the fort was active.
As far as Egg could go along the Mississippi River:
Headed up river. Crossed on another ferry.
Egg also showed his respect at the Chalmette National Cemetery:
Man, ajayhawkfan, you definetly showing Eggy an adventure. Great report
I was hopin you would drop it in near Hammond so us Louisiana boys could play with him for a while.
Egg traveled up river for a little the next day.
We stopped at Port Hudson, nicknamed Fort Desperate. This was the last Confederate strong hold along the Mississippi.
From here Egg went West towards Texas stopping in DeQuincy, LA
Egg ended up in Austin, TX at Little Woodrow's:
Egg is now in Kansas City. I will place it as soon as I can.
