Having the chicken or not isn't going to change the chances of getting bruced.. you'll just know if you were bruced when you get to the the tag instead of riding home and finding out.

Anyway, I agree that if the rule changes there will be a time limit to claim the tag.. 24 hours does seem reasonable to me.. After that, first photo of the tag gets it.. We'll wait for the poll to end before I change any rules though, even though it looks like most people are in favor of choking the chicken :lol3

Here is the new tag location.
No trickie riddles or hidden clues are required to find this place.
Its located on Georgia highway 189 (Lookout Mountain Parkway).
Its located about 15 miles above Trenton, GA and about 15 miles south of Chattanooga, TN.
Not much to look at in the tag picture,
    [IMG]
But step up to the observation deck and the views are spectacular.

Some clues here if you need them.
The little chicken is located under the observation deck on the right side. Go over to the far corner and reach under the lattice panel, around the rock, and its under a piece of old carpet. Nobody is going to accidently find this little guy.

I hope whoever finds it has as much fun riding there as I did. To windy for any gliders to be flying today, but hopefully some will be there for you.

Here's the owner Mike taking it easy. Nice Guy.

The little chicken is buried in the planter to his left under the plaque.

If you come by and ask Mike about the chicken, he says he'll give you a free hat! How about that?

I didn't think about this till later; however, the finger is NOT intended towards Robert & Mary Davis, nor any of their relatives.

Tom & I will be doing some route scouting on Monday for the Fuzzy Beaver II Rally. We'll be leaving the shop at 9am if anyone wants to tag along. You'll need dual sport tires that have some life left in them. There's a steep slope on Trail 81 we may be going up. A big bike would have to bypass this trail & meet us on the other side.

    Spot on! Mike..
I thought about that when I looked at the post earlier.
NO DISRESPECT INTENDED TO ROBERT AND MARY DAVIS!

I will edit the post pronto.

I started thinking about that picture & how someone could read something into it that wasn't really meant. People are so thin skinned lately. Oh, and if you're in the Poultry Industry, the Toy industry, or a Bronze caster the finger wasn't meant for you.

So then me and chicken spent the afternoon chugging around southeast Tennessee.

First we stopped at Tanasi to grab the East TN tag and model our new hat.

Then we had a look around Fort Loudon and found the heavy artillery

Then we rode through the Dragon to see the Mini Coopers and the squids and the LEOs.

Back into TN on the Cherohala Skyway and then we stopped at the Burra Burra Mine in Ducktown and tried on a crucible

---And now the NEW TAG LOCATION:---
Finally, here is where we parted ways.

FLUX, sorry I missed you. I was at a rally giving a presentation on roads in the area.

You missed getting the chicken by about 8 hours. The shop was so busy I couldn't jump on the web site to post that it had fled the coop. Not sure if the rules allowed me to anyway.

We're going riding Monday. You can meet us at Shuller Creek Rd & the Hiwassee River at 10am if you can sneak out of work. Smith Mtn, Trail 81(if it doesn't rain), Whiteoak Flats, 44, and Star Mtn.

I was over checking on the NC Tag when someone posted up saying the NA Tag was in the mountains. I looked and saw that it was 165 miles for my house and it was 3:00 PM. I have two friends out in Macon and Clay counties so I said what the heck, it too nice of a day not to ride; and off I went.

When I first got the Ocoee Whitewater Center sign I thought I had been Bruced. I called my wife and once again walking around the sign and suddenly discovered the chicken. Wow..the things that are making me happy these days:D

I just got in so I'll have to find a spot for the chicken tomorrow. Great fun!
