Don't know if he can swim, but he's stuck in the office now.

But he was nice enough to spot that I left my lights on on the bike, but he wouldn't run out and flip them off for me. :lol3

Never realized what a bunch of eager beavers you all were in NC, especially since the egg sat for 2 weeks at Kill Devil Hills.
I guess the clue I posted last night is a landmark known by all in the area.
So, as I just rode 560 miles total, in 30-40 degree weather for this tag. I am going to post the story and photos anyway. :evil

The legs were sculpted by a backhoe operator who had a vision one night. He then had to get a special zoning permit to erect them from the city of Henderson NC, and not everybody in the neighborhood seems to like them. The artist is Ricky Pearce, and he has been interviewed on a NYC radio show about them, and the legs are on hundreds of websites as well as being a North Carolina text book, so I am told. A very nice guy to talk to, with a great sense of humor (who would have thought). The name of the street they are located on is Welcome Ave.:deal

Great grab hscrugby! The neighbors around the legs must have thought you either mad or very horny going through the bush looking for the egg.:rofl

Thanks. I got bruced the last two attempts at grabbing the egg, so this time I wasn't fooling around. :lol3
As you could tell by the bike, (ktm 450 xcf) this isn't going to be a long ride for Eggy, but he will see several of the local landmarks and have lunch with the local inmates on Wednesday before I drop him off Wednesday evening.

Nothing spoils a good grab like a Bruce. Hope you post some Eggy for lunch photos, and I really hope the Egg is headed to warmer temps. Travel on..................................:clap

Well, KDH is a decent haul out a basically arrow straight road, but Henderson is pretty close to a lot of active taggers. I knew this wasn't going to last long, but I was hoping till at least Wednesday. :lol3

Me thinks Gimpy is going to be a bit less aggressive getting to these distant tags for a little while. Still we Tarheels must be vigilant as there are other marauders from far away hills just planning and waiting. Looking forward to seeing eggy again at lunch.

I'll just be a little less aggressive on the bike. Nice to see on ADV. I just saw you on ibmw. Is pirate over here too?

For the rest of you NCer's. I've submitted leave for a specified date range. Yeah buddy!

Sadly Eggy is stuck doing maintenance and on conference calls today.
But tomorrow, the bike should have a stator that can actually charge the battery AND have the lights on. :evil
    Fresh oil.
New chain. (apparently the non o-ring one I tried really did NOT last long. <500 miles)

I might sneak out in a few, but it's wife's birthday, so Eggy and I are going to take her out. She's not keen to ride on the back of the dirt bike. :lol3

Plus eggy doesn't like the extra weight.

Eggy went out for some local brew.
    :)

He might stay at a brewery at this rate.

Really didn't know this game was still wandering around the country with "42"s egg. I believe that this photo documents the number 2 grab of this particular mascot at the Vietnam Memorial Park at the PNC arts center, NJ.....

So, HSCRUGBY, while you have the duck, want to just add "docgonzo" on the egg? Didn't know I was supposed to sign it when I got the Tag! :D

That egg has done some serious traveling in the last 3 and 1/2 years!

P.S., is there an up-to-date map of the tags?
