#5 Read the Rules, understand the intent of the game. Quality not Quantity. If you want to tag a stop sign at the corner of "I'm impatient" and "Hurry Up" roads just to up the tag count, play a local game instead.. There are no rules that say you can't play more than one game at a time, so if this one sits for a week or two while the stars align for a big move, then so be it.. Obviously don't sit on it for weeks on end if you have no plans to actually take it somewhere though.

Do we need to hire a detective, or contact the FBI's MED (Missing Egg Department)?

Anybody heard from TU? Has something bad happened to him or the egg?
I would hate to see the egg disappear after a grab. Let's give it 4 to 6 weeks.
Let me know who and where to send a replacement.

I was at the finisher's banquet for the Big Tex Rally, and came close to standing up and asking if there was a gentleman from VA in the room who had eggy. Now I wish I had...

Somebody has been checking in with THs' log-in, but the two questions I have are whether it is him and if so, where in the world he is at?

He and his buddy who works at the same place are both conspicuously out of comms since the 16th. With what the three of us do, we get told to travel for work on 2 hour notice.

Just because I post regularly doesn't mean I am in the country and many times I have had family (typically my son when I'm selling something on Flea Market) check on ADV for me when I've been on travel.

No excuses, just questions. I'm as curious as anybody and sure don't want to lose the egg.

Well, three weeks vacation has come and gone. I was hoping for a heroic ride to nab eggy and bring him back to NC.

Burned fingers & divorce is more like it.

There are probably a small contingent of folks here who know how it feels to literally drop everything to go somewhere quickly. For example, I've dropped working on family birthday planning to get to the airport within 2 hours to be in mainland China for a full month, living out of a go-bag.

In that case, we then were sent to a small boat operating off a Taiwanese island for a couple more weeks "on the way home."

While (ex) wives have trouble understanding how you can miss so many important family events, they sure enjoy the paychecks continuing to come in.
That's another story; I just threw it in since we are waiting.

How 'bout this theory? TH is a Tea Party-er and went to Texas to put the tag at his idol and future president Ted Cruz's birthplace, then discovered he was going to have to go a bit farther than he thought. :rofl

Actually, the lesson here is "If you can't do the crime, don't do the time."

I'll be here all week, folks.

TH: Looking forward to your "broke a leg in Arkansas and got eaten by wild pigs" story.

Tryin' to imagine what I'd report to the fold if the Tag Bag dropped off the bike enroute because I left it on top forgeting to strap it in. Guess I'd just have to say that.

Honesty. Sometimes it's the only viable choice. :)

There are a lot of good reasons for not being able to relocate Eggy or even losing Eggy.............but there are fewer good reasons for the lack of communication. Maybe he hit a wild hog in the Texas Hill Country and the Hog rolled and ate him. That would be an legitimate reason.

Maybe they eloped, hoping to start a chicken coop together?
