The last time the mascot was "lost" was at the Cyclone in Coney Island. It was a chicken, replacing the original mascot, which was Squarehead. Squarehead was found, so a dilema insued, with the appropriate drama.

The solution was the re-unification of the mascots on 5-22-2009, when 42 dropped the egg. On 5-23-2009, AmadVikingJr (may he RIP) first engraved the egg. It was re-united with Squarehead at Fort Nonsense by CycleJohn (an appropriate location, don'tcha think?).

It was decided to keep the egg as the mascot, and it was miraculously moved around North America for 4 years. Unfortunately, it is now MIA.

Someone just has to go and get the tag shot, and introduce a new mascot, like we did before. If the egg shows up again, the person in possession just has to go to the newest tag location and place it back in the game. Simple.

When the mascot becomes more important then the game of figuring out locations and riding our motorcycles to same, then the game is done....

Why yes, yes I did. . ... :rofl Sorry for the delay, turns out I can't post pics from the road, and even updating with my primitive tin cans and string device was terribly unpleasant. Soo, I did what any good tagger would do. I turned around and rode back to base to post pics.

When I launched around 8 am, I wasn't sure where I'd go. Would it be Rutt's Hutt for a ripper, or something more cosmic. . .. Well, I went cosmic. So, with no further delay, I present to you the new substitute mascot [insert name], and the tag:

I parked way in the back:

    You'll find this:

At the base of the left leg of an old metal chair you'll find next to an old metal bench, each are in the area past the parking on the right, [insert name] is covered in pine debris, and marked by an "A" like so:

It was a fun ride. Glad I included the hydration system. Made blasting down and back much more doable:

    Happy Tagging! :clap

Today is maintenance day. I've even got a buddy coming over with a few tires that he needs help changing. If it weren't for that, I'd already be in Charleston by now.

But I will be in Charleston at the end of next week. Without Gimpy around, it just might sit that long in SC. Just sayin... :evil

Whoever recovers the mascot is free to etch/drill/dremel my name -- the fine folks from USPS delivered him/her Saturday evening in a mighty polished state. Didn't want to fiddle with how to make him/her more name entry friendly vice making a Sunday tag, so I gladly pass that responsibility to others! :D

    I bet he likes hotdogs.

I have a hunting weekend this Fri/Sat near Holly Shelter.
how far is that from Charleston? I could make a short detour on the way home Sunday.:evil
