Don't hear that very often of NJ.

    Great tag

WreckChecker's right. The tip is there, in the same spot. But there's a ton of concrete to move to find out.

My vote: Time to move on. It may be down there, it may not. But excavating ain't riding.

Maybe Karma's trying to tell us to stop being so attached to our mascots.:lol3

I gave a ride to all three of these. We CAN'T have lost the dragon, because I haven't been able to move him yet.

Seriously, I totally agree with moving on.

If Ice cold Dan OKs the "get", I will move on with the game, picking a new mascot. If the next "getter" doesn't like my pick, he can swap out for another mascot. I may be able to move it tomorrow afternoon, pending Dan's approval.

It is 1854. Where the hell is the new mascot?

Sorry guys, I was slabbing it back from NJ all day. I set the box under that pointed concrete then laid a smaller piece next to it to close it in. Nobody was there when I hid it at 3:30 Sunday afternoon. I doubt any construction happened between then and sunrise. I sorta surprised that it wasn't there, but that grab photo was certainty in the right location. I was shocked that it was grabbed so quickly considering I didn't post the location until late last night. Who knows why it wasn't found, it was just placed against the wall and the pointed rock laid over it like a lean to. Anyway, great job on the swift grab. I say play on.

I don't think the site was active, I wonder if the tide came up that far and shuffled the rubble around?

Thanks, Dan. Was a beautiful spot early in the morning, with the sun coming up over the Atlantic Ocean! :clap:clap

So, here's what I've picked for the new mascot:

The nice thing about a duck is that it is waterproof, easy to fit in your pocket, and is easily replaced if "inadvertently" lost.

New tag up later this week, when I can get a block of time to do a decent move.

Is there an up-to-date tag map or spreadsheet anywhere?

Don't want to do a repeat if I can avoid it….

    p.s., I've reviewed the 1st post, and don't see anything about re-tags….

There actually have been a couple of repeats. Kitty Hawk comes to mind as one. It isn't a big deal though. We've got some killer destinations on this continent that deserve a repeat visit.

OK, then I won't sweat it. New tag up this weekend, probably out in the mountains of Pennsylvania. In the meantime, the NA ADV Duck had some fun today checking out the new KTMs at the Demo day at Hanover Powersports in NJ:

NOTE: The fellows who demo'd the New SuperDuke were amazed! What a piece of eye candy!

Glad to see Ducky getting some saddle time with some orange bikes.

Oddly enough, the KTM I want to get my hands on the most is the new 390. I'm anxiously awaiting....:evil

Doc, Don't wait for the weekend. There are plenty of folks ready to move it around.
You brag how you love NJ and there are so many good places to tag. Let us see something nice right here!:nod

    Hmmmmm

Looks like a KTM commercial instead of a drop.

"#5 Read the Rules, understand the intent of the game. Quality not Quantity. If you want to tag a stop sign at the corner of "I'm impatient" and "Hurry Up" roads just to up the tag count, play a local game instead.."

Shawn, I'm not retired like Walter B. and Sallydog. I'm still working. I thought I'd move it at least a hundred miles. Maybe I could do it Thursday morning. Will that be soon enough? Or do you want me to just drop it near your house?:rofl

Historic Clinton Road would have been fine!:lol3

I am heading out the door for Maggie Valley!:clap:clap

Before I head south, I am riding to the beach to see if I can find the mascot under the concrete rubble.

Great! If you find the mascot, the tag is yours. Or you can come over to my house, and I can give you the NA ADV duck. No problem letting you take it down to North Carolina. Was just there a couple of weeks ago for the US Open at Pinehurst! The sand and pine trees are just like South Joisey!:D
