HEAD WEST YOUNG MAN, HEAD WEST!
North .....a little ..
I'll get a twofer
Headed west a little
And farther west
And farther west
If you look close, you can see eggy perched on the wall under the A of National
You just leave that poor guy sitting on that wall?
There's wild indian ghosts running around out there!
Nope, took him home for a day of mowing and garden work.
Found him a new temporary home .
At this intersection in Oklahoma, you can see a large downed tree overgrown with grass
On the northwest end of the tree there is the temporary home
The sign shows the intersection to be Big Bend Road and County Road 6301, it should be at the intersection of County Roads 6301 and 6150.
According to Google Maps, Big Bend Road is actually 6 miles west and runs north to south.
And even this
Hopefully you just got Bruced and whomever grabbed it hasn't had a chance to post yet.
Bruce.left pcs of plastic
Service sux out here
We picked up Cosmo about 10:30 this morning. Looks like we just missed reddirtjoe.
The zip lock bag was falling apart as I pulled it out, the blue bag had holes in it too. Looks like a rat may have been chewing on it under the wood pile.
Cosmo was hungry and had heard that Ree Drummond, the Pioneer Woman was a good cook so we went to the Pioneer Woman Mercantile (Restaurant, Bakery and General Store) in Pawhuska, OK.
There was a 2 hour wait at the restaurant and I told Cosmo I wasn't waiting that long. We could get a sandwich and piece of pie in the bakery upstairs and there was no waiting.
If he was OK with that I said that I would take him to the swinging bridge about four blocks from there and then take him to see another Pioneer Woman.
Swinging Bridge in Pawhuska, OK. About 4 blocks south of the Pioneer Woman Mercantile.
You snooze you loose , I slept till about 930....then couldn't get the NC700x to start, messed with it a bit,,,,screw it, take the Versys
I didnt think anyone else would brave the humidity and stormish looking weather

Pioneer Woman Monument in Ponca City, OK.
The 101 Ranch just south of Ponca City.
The 101 Ranch was the birthplace of the 101 Ranch Wild West Show. The show went nation wide in about 1907. The ranch was also the largest diversified farm and ranch in America at the time.
Pawnee Bill Ranch, another wild west show, is just west of Pawnee, OK.
Now have to go shopping for a new zip lock sleeping bag for Cosmo.
Gotta comment, iirc, this is the FIRST Brucing in the game so far... kudos to Bruce, and Bruce-ee.. for a job well done...
I set out to stash Cosmo yesterday afternoon, there were just a few spotty storms showing on the radar so we took off. It wasn't long before the storms started developing more and a lot of lightning in the direction we were heading so we turned back to the house.
This is at the entrance to the park. The road immediately curves to the south and this is a good place to park, in the curve. Notice the sign at the far left side of the picture, in front of the bike.
This is the sign and Cosmo is under a small log directly behind the sign.
Look for the Styrofoam cup on the right side of the picture, this is a good place to enter the woods, then just before reaching the cup turn left towards the back of the sign.
The arrow is pointing to the log and after taking the picture I found an old beer bottle that I put behind the log.
That close so.......grabbed ....( trip meter was zeroed before leaving )
