Aw, shucks. :shog That DR may have killed the WR250R lust. Punched out to 435 it's a hoot to ride!

The egg just returned from the hayride.

Now he's really beat. Between that and the trip to the tattoo parlor the day is beginning to catch up with him. That's alrght though. Looky what we found when we got back to the site this afternoon.

He'll sleep like a baby. The kids are really eating this egg thing up - so to speak.:D

If by 'success' you mean the egg survived the cavity search at the border, the egg was dropped at a new location, and the bike got me back after nearly 400 miles without any major issues - then, 'yes'!

More details in the am. There's an important meeting over at the campfire I must attend right now.:deal

    :lol3

Love the new Maine tag btw. Almost came home that way, too.

Yes. The passport came along 'just in case'. Eventually, a minor problem was discovered with my plan. In the event I needed a rescue, the DCSR left her passport at home.:doh Assuming I was still upright I would have had to get myself to the border then I'd hopefully have a ride from there.:lol3 Thankfully, none of that occurred but it's something to consider in the future.

4:26am post, Don?:huh Still on nights, aren't cha? You need to make a small detour on your next trip and grab this thing.:deal

Aaron, you guessed right. This tag does have an international flavor to it. [IMG]The map gave it away, didn't it? :lol3

Anyhoo...let's see if we can at least get the minimal info out there with my 'two tincans and a string' connection. There may be more of the story later when I get better service. Or not. We'll see.

As alluded to last night, get yourself here:

It's beautiful country up that way! If you're inclined to ride dirt roads you can even find one or two of those as well. Have no fear, though. This tag can be reached on pavement.

Once there, you'll need to stop at the entry building. Yes. They have limited hours but you'll manage. 9am-6pm I believe. Closed in winter so let's not lolligag. If you'd like to ride up to the observatory (a separate road) get there before noon. After that it's a bus ride.:deal

There is a fee. $3.50 Canadian.

These are things I thought about on the way up - about 30 miles away. Too late at that point. Unfortunately, the EvilClown Reseach Institute staff is also on vacation this week so you'll have to bear with me and the fact that this tag location was based solely on the size of the green patch on the map. That and its proximity to my campsite.:D

Just so we don't exclude anyone, if you are going to collect this tag on your KLR just send me notarized copy of your registration and I'll PayPal you $3.50 - Canadian.:lol3

Once on the road, look for this sign:

Head to the top. You won't miss the ginormous antenna. Have a look around. There's a chapel and stunning views of the Appalachian Mountains - unless you ride up with WhistlingFool.

    :hide

    :lol3 Sorry. Couldn't help myself.

Once there, look for this sign:

See those trees behind it to the right side of the trail? That's where you'll find the egg.:deal

    View from the side:

It's 7 steps away from the back of the box at the base of the sign.

The bag with assorted goodies is stashed right underneath - towards the backside.

The view from the tree towards the tower:

    And finally, the tag(s):

    ...or...

If you happen to hit poor visibility a shot in front of the sign will do. Hopefully that won't happen as it really is a breath taking view from the top of Quebec.

This has been the most fun game of tag yet. Hopefully the next player will have even more fun taking it to its next destination!

    Nice tag, beautiful views.

Even though these tags are way out of range for me I have to say I am really enjoying following this thread. I also really appreciate the effort folks are making to really move Mr. Egg around. You all are to be commended. :clap

Very nice Job EC, you hit the target with this one and now for the next inmate to be up for the task at hand.

Do we have players, in range, that will be ready to play the game with us? We will have to watch this thread some more and catch the next story of the eggcellent adventure!
