I had a little technical malfunction, its amazing how much I rely on the Garmin, especially after it goes TU.

Same State further west, Near a famous hole in the ground. I was going to use the hole as the tag but then heard this 47 Bell Carillon playing across the street. This was dedicated in 1937.

Nope that one looks way different and is to the east if you mean this one- http://www.advrider.com/forums/showpost.php?p=9139031&postcount=4301

I've been trying to find a defenitive number of how many freestanding Carillions there are in North America. There is a total of 179 in all including the ones that are a part of the steeple.... but only a small portion of those are stand alone. I do know of one pretty close to me and there is one near you as well. One thing playing this has helped me to do is take notice of the things around me and appriciate them for what they are.... there are many covered and stone arch bridges in my area and I've never really thought about it but theses things are truly art when you stop and look at them. Thank you ADVrider. :cry

No rush in this game, we're looking for quality tags not quantity tags.. Plus moving the tag a good distance is always a plus

Close up pic of the mill, damn, and river.

    Alright, clues:
    1. Old mill/damn in the town of ___ . Mill has not be operational since atleast 1982; that's when I moved to the area.
    2. Town in which located shares the same name as the river seen in the picture.
    3. Road seen in the picture, which goes over the river, is a 3 digit route, whose sum of those 3 digits = 12.

    Good luck!

Don't worry about it. I am used to being Bruced. I figure that when you go after a lot of tags, you are going to get Bruced a lot as well. As long as the NA tag is withing about 300 miles or so, it is within my range.:deal

The ride across 211 is pretty much worth the trip in itself.... great twistys. From New Market to Sperryville I was in pure bliss.... I'm going to make time to go back down sometime real soon on one of the Duc's and spend the day just tooling around on the Skyline drive and that road.

If this is where I think it is its about a 4 hour hike for me. I'd do it if I knew for sure my guess is right. Any chance for a few more clues? Unless some other FF knows it then just ignore me.
