    Hey, I've been there...

    ...a few times.

Here's what it looked like today...

This is about a mile from the Leonard Hill Forest Sign. The road surface is ice, with an inch of fresh snow on top, slick as snot. Temperature was 36 degrees at noon, and there was a bit of snow still coming down. I decided not to risk my tupperware by going any further, so I turned around and headed for clear roads.

    FAIL...

No problem, there was a little snow here and there but nothing a guy on a Goldwing with bald tires couldn't have handled. :lol2

This f'n sucks. I wasn't home earlier and decided to go back. Up the mountain in the dark, interesting to say the least. Good thing someone else has the frickin duck because I looked for that little bastard for 30 minutes until it started raining. The rest of the ride home in the rain with heated gear abd no rain gear is really going to suck!!!!!!!!

If I don't end up in the hospital, I'll have the new tag up tomorrow.

I was in Middleburg when I posted the last update. Home now, wet ass, boots full of water, but I have the damn egg! Good thing I have heated insoles so at least my feet were in warm water. AST jacket was remarkably dry. Acerbis waterproof pants were okay but after a while of sitting in water they soak through. It's about 1 1/4 hours , but I stopped a couple times.
