Sunday, we went on a tour of Central Florida Back Roads. Bill "SilverSTreak" Royal wanted to show me that Florida does indeed have more than 18 curves and he did not disappoint.

Mr. Egg came along for the ride. First stop was the last One Teacher schoolhouse left in Florida.

Could these be Adventure Riders in Training?

Next, we rode on through a sweet twisty road called Agricola Rd. and had to stop for an momentary interruption: Apparently they stopped to pose for pictures Hams that they are. Mr Egg was worried about how well he might go with them.

The little piggies looked so delicious that we got a little hungry so we got together with some other riders for a bite to eat.

Next, Mr Egg says he's ready to find a new handler...

Mr. Egg here - I am somewhere in Central Florida. No longer in Danny's possession. It was a little bit of a sad parting, but when its time to move on its time to move on. HE was getting on my nerves anyway with all the stopping and picture-taking. I'd much rather just go ride.

    Here are the clues:

Me and my princess (Henrietta, who I met at the hen house and have grown quite fond of), now reside on the grounds of a castle. A castle protected by a moat and with lots of Royal Activities to partake in.

Here we are on a bicycle built for two - eggs. They say bicycle riding can lead to adventure riding - its a gateway sport/drug. :evil

Here I show off my equestrian skills.

I got a promotion to Captain of my own ship, and Henrietta is my first mate.

    And here's my new Castle.

This post has been edited to reflect the mascot moved to outside the gate - see follow-up post below for more details!

    Bye Danny!

Good Luck - Enjoy the hunt!

You didn't ride all the way to Florida to place the tag and forget to take a photo of your bike in front of it did you? :deal

Looks like a great location, but when you go back to do your Bike shot, I would make sure Mr. Egg is on the outside of that gate.. There was an issue with a Chicken in the past that didnt get past on because it was behind a locked gate and someone went afterhours... I would hate to see the Egg not continue on this journey...

Finally! Some appreciation for the 1600 miles we rode to get to the Castle.

Actually it was a lot of fun...

I am not the master of this thread, but this has been touched on before you need to be able to get the TAG at anytime. There are no hour restrictions, and the EGG is an added bonus to the TAG (which is the photo shot). You need to get the TAG done anyways so just put the EGG on the outside of the gate.
I am sure others will agree with me on this, as this was a big issue in the past in this forum and this is actually exactly how the Chicken was lost and the EGG was born... (I guess the Chicken did come first)

It was all very nice trip and write up, but the bike needs to be in the shot and Mr. Egg needs to be accessable 24/7.

That's what happened to "Blockhead" at a National Wildlife Preserve in Maryland.
The hours listed by the gate at the entrance to this castle are: 11-4 and Closed Mondays. That's quite limiting for the average tagger (although it's hard to consider taggers average:D ). Could the egg be moved to a spot accessable 24/7?

Is it correct that the tag is wide open now? Seems that anyone who can get the pic at the previous tag can take the shot and move it to any location he chooses. I think it is correct that the photo is the Tag; the token is ancillary.

Rules of this TOR say you need the mascot to claim the tag...I think
Rules of most other TOR say you just need a picture of the bike.
I thought this thread would really be cool but it seems to be more about how corny the mascot story can be rather than moving it around the country.
