Well put Sir, and if by chance they do leave it down there, George knows me well enough, it won't stay down there.

The furthest north and east the tag has been so far is Mount Carleton Provincial Park in northern New Brunswick, Canada.

Get the egg back up to New England by the end of the month and I will have the opportunity to better that.

    Austin,

Go back and read; the issue was not that it went to cali, infact it was great to see it move so far (just as with Belize). The issue was two things. One was simply the handoff. The second was two part; the first was using a tag shot that was not where teh egg was combined with a "call me I'll bring you the Egg". Second was that even after it was moved to teh birdhouse (pretty cool actually) it was simply sitting there doing nothing. Maybe there are just not many folks in CA (with such terrible riding weather and all :D) that are interested in playing.

I would love to have the time to take Egg on a long trip, but until I retire (again) I do not see it happening. Me, I do not care if a person grabs Mr. Egg and only moves him 50 miles down the road if that is all they have time for. I also do not care if a person has Mr. Egg for two months if he is on a long trip and documents said trip on the thread. I think all that any of us are asking is that no matter where a rider takes Mr Egg he/she should simply use a bit of thought in placement. YES, taking Mr. Egg to Belize is an epic ride and moving him from Fla to CA was fantastic too, but if he is just going to sit (as would likely have happened in Belize if it was actually left there by the riders on that trip) then maybe he is being left in the wrong place. That is the issue, nothing more.

I thought when I brought it to the top of Algonquin it was further north but I just checked the GPS and apparently not..
If I get my hands on the Egg again it will be coming back to the great white north... I should have brought it up here from Florida when I had the chance.

Great work on the current TAG location looking forward to where it ends up.

Hey guys.. Ive been sitting hear quietly reading all about the trip Mr Egg has taken. I really think The St Riders should be commended for the great trip they showed us and the great stories they'll have. They listened to the voices of everyone on the site and are bringing Mr Egg back north for the next ADV rider to grab up..... Now one thing nobody has mentioned. (and yes I checked the pics) Where is Mr Eggs luggage?????? His little bag of tricks picked up along his travels has not been seen or mentioned. I hope he was kind enough to share his tools during the couple of break downs... (Flashlight, multi-tool, etc..... not sure the bubbles would do much lol) Anyway!!! GAME ON!!! Looking forward to hearing more about your trip to Belize and seeing where the Egg lays next.

Right now the egg is in Guatamala. They are at a river crossing trying to get a boat to get the three of them across and get back to some sort of civilization in Mexico.

It looks like they couldn't get across the river in eastern Guatamala so they are headed back to Belize and go up the way they came down. The egg is not going farther south with George. They may have pqssed it to some FF down there, but they haven't said so in their messages to the ST people. Here's a link to George's thread on the st-owners.com site. http://www.st-owners.com/forums/showthread.php?t=81797

Though I'm no longer in possession (George walks into the Psychiatrist's office with Mr. Egg on his shoulder, Doc looks up and asks, "May I help you?"

Mr. Egg replies, "Yeah, can you get this guy off my ass?" :rofl) I do have many opportunites to take his pic as his current support brings him into view on occasion. I've just posted three more albums at http://picasaweb.google.com/cattmando, feel free to peruse at yur leisure. He seems to have an affinity to b'kfast tables and mother hens. :clap

Rest assured he will not stay in Belize (in fact, he's not there now!) but only the present support can decide where he may reside.

As to leaving him down here, that was never "our" intention and the opinionsposted here have had little infuence. "We" are following the rules, and will continue to do so.

In the meantime, read the narrative on my albums and decide whether this is a real adventure or just another motorcyle ride.:lol3

Just to reassure all concerned, the egg and its backpack are all safely packaged and will hopefully encounter smoother roads on its way west and north. Rocky roads, goat pastures, black howlers serenading at dusk and dawn, and mucho attempts to secure boat passage up river not withstanding, the ride continues with a front row seat. It is just amazing that I was in the area and available to retrieve le Egg to expand its horizons-think of the stories it can tell the little egglets to come.

I realize the responsibility at hand and am fully committed....

    Love the reports & pix.

I think everybody who comes in contact with this tag in the future will have a bit of awe about how far it's come before being in their care.

STBNE, ya know all of us are subscribers in good STanding at this forum too. It ain't what ya ride but that ya ride that counts. I joined here to hear of others' exploits and hopefully expand my own horizons. Also, the XT-350 thread has been invaluable in my ongoing efforts to turn a small lead-sled into a reliablel, small LD dual sport.

Oh, yeah, this is where Raven hangs now and I need to stay in contact. Her "Desert Daze" ride first of March was a real treat. In fact, I'm wearing the shirt as I type this.

Mr. Egg hasn't made an appearance today but I'm pretty sure SunnyTN and he are making plans for tomorrow in Flores, Guatemala and for the continuing trip no matter where it may lead.

Y'all enjoy, and take a break from the 'puter to...

    GO RIDE!!!!!!
