If you rode out to the tag location, took the picture, but when you went to post it found that someone else had already beat you to it, that is called a Brucing (named after a player of the Farney's Ohio Tag-O-Rama)

Also a swingset tag is one where you do not have to ride far to tag. Named after a different player of the above Tag-O-Rama that was able to push his bike across the street to claim a tag without even starting it.

OK Wibby...the rules are pretty simple.

remember playing TAG as a kid (you were a kid at one time...weren't you??) :lol3 :1drink :norton

you make a 'grab' by posting a pic of your bike in the TAG location, and then post a new 'drop' pic with a pic of your bike in the "new" local.

the North American TAG has been ALL OVER the entire North American continent. Way up in Canada, all over the US of A, down to the Southern tip of Mexico, up to the Yukon!!!:eek1 ....and now it made it's way down to our neck of the woods.

One little side twist to this game was the inclusion of a 'mascot'. It started out as a rubber toy (that got pinched out of a flower bed in NYC), and then went on to become Mr. EGG. Read back over this thread...this has been a wyld game!!!

Frankly, I feel very honored to get to play in this game that I've been watching from the comfort of my computer for quite some time now.

I did not see anything in the rules, but do you have to do this on bike?

I thought is was a pretty cool one also. Its even better if you have been following the banter on the Ohio threads.

I think the requirement is that you have a picture of your bike at the location, so yes.

I think it is also required that you ride your bike to the location, check the first page. I know it has been discussed and trailering was not allowed. :D

I really have no interest in this, never even heard of it until today, it was dropped on my plate just this morning, in a PM

I maybe headed that way this weekend but unfortunately not on my bike so thought I'd ask a few questions

    Carry on...

How about in Dexter Cave or Crack In The Ground?

Or are you going further east?

Taking Gator's ashes to Wolf Mountain, near Seneca

    So there's many possibilities

Still thinking about riding up there to look for this thing, but it'd be an 8hr day in the saddle at least :cry
