Watering hole...the one I usually walk to. Really good food, live music, darts and 6 pool tables.

Pretty Sure this counts as its as much as a beach as this lake has. Just let me know if it doesn't? :huh

I should have the new tag up by tomorrow even thought most of you drunk bastards will be too hungover to ride and get it anyway:lol3

It would count as a beach for me. I am troubled as your plate seems to be a USA one, PA perhaps? The picture looks like it wasn't taken 12/31/2012 however. Seems to be the wrong season for it. Am I wrong here? I thought file tags were out of bounds for this TOR for placing or grabbing.

I always thoiught that file photos were legal for the wild card tag o ramas not the regular tag o ramas. but I just read the rules again and you're right. I guess my grab doesn't count and its still open unless I can find time to ride to that tag again:deal

Sorry again thats my fault for not reading clearly. MOds feel free to delete my original post to avoid confusion since it was not legal. Or if you guys still want me to go set a new tag to avoid confusion. Just let me know I am fine with either option

    Andrew,
I was busted on the same issue a while back. It is a less than thrilling day for a ride in the east today. That makes it an ADVENTURE... Go.. GO NOW.. Don't think about it JUST GOOO.. GO GET A CURRENT PIC OF THE TAG.. HURRY!!!!!
Then just grab something of interest on the way home. Perhaps a car of a drunk driver from last night still in the ditch.

I would go to get a current pic of the tag but my old man (i'm 17) is all worried about the salt and cinders on the road since it just snowed. I'll see if i can sneak out though:deal

Experience speaks volumes, usually because we've been there and done that when we young and bulletproof :D.

I know, the old man isnt as bad as I like to make him out to be.

And damn, I convinced him to let me ride out to the lake and was going to grab the tag today. I had the perfect place to put it on the way back too.
I'll redeem myself soon though for the slip-up:evil

Well I waited and this was on my way today... so now go find an abandoned chimney.. Think of an old factory, old fallen or burned down house with a chimney still standing, etc. I bet there is something near you! Then grab that perfect next one.

I've looked on the internet and thought of everywhere ive been and asked so many people. And no one can come up with a standing chimney.

Guess I'll have to wait until the next one:cry

    Someone hurry up!

This chimney is the only thing left of this small house. It burned a few years back. First attempt at a usable pic...

I can do better than that. From the back...

The chimney was in the center of this house. You are looking at the tin roof laying against the chimney.

    A Greenway.

They have a stage for bands in the summer, two miles of paved trail along Hawksbill Creek and more.

So, the new tag is a "Greenway" as defined by...

    A Greenway grab

    Raleigh area Greenway.

This is a really nice trail, goes around a few lakes, (Shelley Lake is close)
I think it's called "Mine Creek Trail" which has several off shoots. It's fun on a pedal bike or nice for jogging.
I like this tunnel, cause I can hop off the road, shoot down, snag a cool pic, and scoot back up the other side without annoying too many soccer moms. :)
(I've tagged this tunnel on my old CBR as well)
Raleigh's Greenway system is up to 81 miles according to their website. (I think they are pushing it for some of those, and I'd not call sidewalks a greenway, even if it connects two "real" greenways)
