We like to keep our shoes in the closet around here...
DE Shoe Tree
Well Cyclingtom, everybody knows that Arkies don't wear shoes. Apparently we throw them in trees.
Funny, I couldn't see the pic when I just logged on but when I went to "quote" my post it showed up. Can you see it now? Sounds like a verizon comercial!
If you still can't see..
Now that is a nice shoe tree. I was almost feeling bad about my tag but not anymore. I guess you guys are gonna have to find one.
Nice evening here in Ct for a ride. I spent over an hour riding around looking up in the trees in some likely areas, no luck. Could not even find a pair of old sneakers wrapped in overhead lines!!!! I may have to raid my wife's closet and make my own shoe tree. :eek1
When I was a kid, I went out to the Philmont Scout Ranch in New Mexico to do some backpacking with my Boy Scout troop. The tradition there was to throw your boots over the gate at the entrance to the ranch. I suppose we could accept something like that as well.
I have a date toinght with ruafox. We are going out to dinner and hunting for a shoe tree. She thinks she knows where there are two of them.
This is a good tag, I wonder how many of us have been riding around looking for a pair of sneakers hanging from a god damn tree..........................
On a trip to Memphis last month we did pass one along the way. I've just got to make it back out there with the bike now...
Y'all have fun looking but don't forget to look at traffic, OK?
Going out in a short while with a passenger so she can watch for shoes and I can watch the road.
After a stiff neck from looking up, we finally found the gold!
Awesome! What a great find!
So close, if I had posted from the road I might have had this one...
Here is my Bruced photo of my shoe tree...
So the 200+ miles after work tonight was all good. I even picked up a few of the old Alabama T-O-R locations along the way.
AWESOME, finds. Way to go guys!
Usually I am the one to get bruced! I have no new tag until tomorrow.
I saw a nice "Chew Mail Pouch Tobacco" on the side of a barn, but I think its already been done.
Nice Airhead, David. Hope the date went well (aside from finding a tree full of shoes, that is!)
ALL credit for finding the shoe tree goes to ruafox, the beautiful young lady in the photo. I just drove the bike. She even bought me dinner where we stopped and asked about the shoe tree(s). There were 5 but one died.
New tag will be posted in a couple of hours.
This one should be pretty easy, a truck with a welder on the back.
Bonus points if it has a pair of nutz hanging off the back
Gotta be easier than a shoe tree.
If the other welding truck (that you can not see the welder on) does not fly maybe this will do... If not I'm Bruced again...
We will see...
