All I really need are the tools to remove and install new steering stem bearings.
I have a hammer an chisel !!!!
There has to be a way that the hammer and chisel works...but I'm not brave enough to find out.
Any of you riding this weekend?
U may be able to adapt a ball joint press to do the job
I know just the person to ask then. It's funny I tend to separate my bike friends from my car friends when it comes to tinkering on stuff. Maybe tools are what will bridge that gap... so we can all be friends.....
BTW For those of you who didn't get out to ride sat, I had enough fun for all of you :)
Let me know what u do
Tomorrow is my first day off since Christmas day!!!
Who is ur bike guy, an who is ur car guy?
Sorry I missed this... but to answer your question... I did nothing.lol
My car guy is a dude named Travis at a local body shop... his is the brain I pick when I need car related stuff answered fast. My bike friend, Dan the Pantera fan, is my motorcycle guru... if he can't do it no one can. I hate to bother him with all my bike woes. He has access to a machine shop at any time though, which is handy, but he has damn near everything we'd ever need in his kitchen. I'm envious of his garage/kitchen.
These guys are local?
Looks like Mario Andretti's Lotus JPS F1.Is this the car he won the F1 title in?
He lives not to far from me.He's a cool dude.
Yes sir. That is the car, on its way to texas in my truck
We had just finished the latest restoration , and got to run it at the F1 race
Anyone up for a quick ride this weekend?
