You should hire a baby sitter! Surely a fellow who loves riding enough to do the Iron Butt Rally wouldn't be keen on restricting someone else's riding!

Unless he's some kind of hard ass... :lol3

I am ( ) this close to putting my bike back together... got the new bearings pressed in and the wheel bearings re-lubed and pressed in. Just stopped short of assembling it all because I hit my hand with the hammer while tapping in the wheel bearing :puke1 So i'm icing it just in case.

Hopefully my bike will be ready tomorrow with new muffler packing, new relay arm bearings and re-packed wheel bearings :evil

I will have to do some laps around the block to see how the muffler packing reacts, it was not an easy job... The factory packing looked like it was preformed and the new stuff they sent me came as a wild clump of fiberglass mat strands. I asked specifically for what was needed for the Q4 muffler but they don't have any preformed pieces, I had to shape it into place and use masking tape to hold it while reassembling the muffler. :eek1

We've been friends for 22 years and I am honored to be his help for the 11 days of a ride he's literally prepared years for. I wouldn't miss the next 8 days for anything. You guys have fun. I'm completely happy with my decision.

Woohoo! Got my bike all put back together, everything is much smoother, runs better, i'm excited. The difference in resistance from the suspension, chain, engine and wheel bearings is very noticeable.

I'm down for riding on Sunday! Let's get some dirt under our tires. :freaky

We were out there for Memorial Day weekend. RR is a great place to ride and easily my favorite spot in Texas. If you get bored out there though you also have Sam Houston National Forest in New Waverly, TX north of Houston and Hidden Falls Adventure Park near Marble Falls, TX.

Here are a couple of go pro vids my buddy John took.

The links look weird, if they don't work search for youtube user spoolin2bars.

Here are some pics from the weekend. We love looking for the nastiest single track out there to conquer. We always know we are in the right place when you start seeing plastic every where lol.

Been in Dallas 2 years now. Live in Mesquite, would like to check out red river and any other off road place for that matter around here in tx. The highways r pretty boaring here.

    Riding a 08 wr250r.

    OK Kids, RTB4 is approaching.

We met John (ThunderStrike) at RTB3. Good man who loved to ride and was generous to his fellow man above all. He sadly departed our company a couple weeks ago.

RTB has graciously agreed to make this year's donation to Wounded Warrior in John's name. I'd love to see all my fellow dirt riders there. I saw some of the video and pics and it looks like a lot of fun stuff.
