Looks like we're leaning towards camping Friday and staying for a while on Saturday. Prob wrap up around 2 on Saturday. If anyone gets there early on Saturday, we usually camp down to the right as you pay at the office, down the road that runs along the hwy.

Cool. I'll be in a blue LR with the bike on a hitch carrier, probably looking lost. :lol3

Great riding yesterday! The Xchallenge did much better than I expected. And the weather was perfect: not too hot but not too cold, and a nice breeze to keep the dust to a minimum.

    Sore today. :lol3

Soon I will be out again...

I have a new caliper coming for the bike, along with new rear pads to replace the new pads I cooked the last ride. If this does not solve my problem then I am unfortunately going to beg for mercy and will take the bike to the dealer. I understand how disk brakes work but I swear it is like the fluid won't return after stepping on the pedal. Rebuilding the master cylinder and then replacing the master cylinder didn't solve the problem so if the caliper doesn't fix it either then I totally give up.

The caliper will probably do the trick, but if it doesn't, check the brake line and banjo bolts themselves to make sure that there isn't something partially obstructing the flow, acting like a check valve in the circuit.

I have removed the banjo from both sides. When I go to fill the fluid, if it sticks then I will remove again and blow compressed air through the bolts just to be sure. This has been an expensive fix so far. And I thought it was impossible to break a dirt bike. Little did I know I had a friend ripe for the job!!

Great idea. If you have a nozzle for your air source with a rubber tip (like this), you may be able to do similarly with the brake line itself.

chances are low this weekend. Deb out of town on biz till tomorrow and its the RV show in Dallas this weekend. We always go to see whats new that we "need". If something changes I'll post up.
Larry, hope you get your brakes sorted...may just have to trade in for a '14 model. I hear the brakes work fine...:evil

Excellent. I'll be there. Silver VW with a trailer this time. I discovered after last time that the Xchallenge is too heavy for the hitch carrier. :augie

What time will you plan to arrive?

Pick up ender at 8:00 am, load bikes, drive for two hours - probably be there 10 to 10:30. ...we're taking my white Frontier rather than Ender's silver Tundra.
