hey guys :) Just wanted to re-open this post and see how many new entriesd we have :)
Starting off with me :)
Living in Glen Innes ride an F8 and work as a Paramedic :) Happy to meet up for some rides with everyone :)
Oh what a lovely idea !! I will point out the undesirables to you.
I am sort of NW. Live not far from Merriwa. I probably should have intro-ed myself earlier.
Do most of my work in dirty power stations and industrial plants on the east coast but head office is Perth.
Never seems enough time to organise rides so do a lot solo from Wollemi Coolah to Barringtons and up to Nundle / Nowendoc.
Always on the lookout for a new place to ride.
Have rellies in GI ( fireman ) so AdvParamedic may know him. Used to look like Krusty with grey hair!
We will have to meet up we are talking about ride around coolah on some privater property soonish!
Sounds great guys
We are planning a ride the 6th/7th/8th July around emmaville for anyone who is keen to hit some dirt :)pm me for details
A ride up to Emmaville may be just do-able. Finish date for current job is 3/7/13. keep me posted.
Lentil, Coolah sounds ok. Did a run up to Breeza lookout then on to Blackville and back over the range a couple of weeks ago. Some nice scenery up there.
umm, that run over Pandoras Pass and around Blackville / Bundella is some of my favourite country aye
I have lived in the Upper Hunter since 1967 and that was the first time to Coolah. Shameful! I did 475km for the day riding over Pandoras and heading back down the Willowtree Merriwa road. I will definitely do it again. The road conditions were excellent and 100k's was comfortable on the gravel. The side trip into Coolah Tops was well worth it. I will be doing that again. Pity the track through Jemmy's creek is locked. May have to knock on a few doors and see what happens.
Yeah I have a few keys to some of those gates , on private property.
problem is that its goat track country and the Vstrom wont make it
It's all down hill just let gravity take hold
