    Well, since we had such a good time down south this past weekend and Klavinator is already trying to organize another get together for the south eastern riders I figured I'd throw my helmet in and see if there was enough interest here in the NE for a weekend get together. If I have to coordinate it I can guarantee it'll be a very simple event, probably camping somewhere with tent and cabins available (if possible) or even a motel/hotel if that would work better. First let's see if there's any interest and then we can discuss timing. We certainly have decent enough riding around these parts to justify a scooter gathering.
    I'm thinking anywhere in NE would work.
    Who's interested?

    I was wondering if you'd chime in. So you're hanging out with the cool kids in the scooter section now eh? :lol3
    Might be able to get Bernadette in on this as well.

    I'd be interested but who would be crazy enough to ride 800 miles for a scooter Meetup?

    Oh wait, never mind!

    Well, it ain't the Cannonball. It would have been a long ride in that time frame on the Tiger. The scooter was quite comfy.
    BTW JB, Aprilist above thinks he may have met you before. Aprilia related I believe.

    Northeast = Siberia.
    Might be adventurous! But where exactly in Siberia?

    Thanks for that link Calm. Great idea. I've been meaning to do the A-Town Rumble and Ontario would also work. Not getting much response but hopefully this thread will stay active and pick a place.

    You're close enough to the Pa. border and there are plenty of great roads to ride there. Great state parks and roads in the Watkins Glen area and the Finger Lakes, too. I'm usually always up for a good ride, if the timing works.

    This will be my first year at A-town so I can't attest to the event but I've heard good things. It's a classier event than some of the other rallies were drinking and mucking about are the primary entertainment. I've been to Meltdown a few times in Camphill (near Harrisburg) and the club there puts on a great camping weekend. It attracts a diverse group of riders so you end up meeting veterans and a bunch of new riders that got enough confidence to rally since it's at the end of the summer. Just don't go on the slow ride... :rofl
