Anyone up for a dual sport ride in northeastern Maryland sat 4/14 or sun 4/15? At the end of last year a group of us got together in havre de grace, md and rode delta quarries, and a couple of spots in cecil county. Sat or sun would work for me , I guess sunday would be best that way I would not be worn out and not be able to do anything sat night, but what day the most people can make it will work. I found alot of new trails at delta quarries, I got lost in there due to all the side trails, a gps would be good in there. I also like that trail in cecil county next to the large creek. My guess some of us making this ride will be doing the greenridge trip also, we can talk about that more on one of the breaks.

It's starting to look like sunday is the day, The havre de grace I95 park and ride seems like a good place to meet. Once we see who all is coming we can decide on a time and ride route.

Sunday is a day I'll have to sit out. My wedding anniversary is this weekend (yes it actually is the 15th - That way I'll never forget it - TAX DAY)

I'll be out late Friday (4/27) for the Greenridge ride though.

    See y'all then.

You thinking of a morning start? How about early enough to have some of the day left when finished but not too early to wake up on a weekend! :rofl Count me in and looking forward to meeting you. I haven't been to that area for a while and where is a good meeting place? I will be coming up from Perry Hall/Whitemarsh area. Probably up I95 or Rt 1 I guess?

I was thinking of meeting at about 11 or 12 and ride for a few hours. We can meet at the havre de grace park and ride off of I 95. Another guy may be joining us, he will be coming from pa. If he goes we can meet him up near delta ( that's near pa).

The water looks very dark. I don't think there is fresh water running into it (no oxygen). I don't think theres any fish. Plus everyone likes to throw everything imaginable in the water. Looks like they rode near a lake (seperate from the big quarry), that may have fish?

the pit is a commercial bldg site in perryville, not really a good place to ride, however there is a powerline service road we rode to get there. Also there is a gravel pit to ride about 15 mins from there.
