+1:ddog Maybe ride to the ski hill ? Hey Mike, ever carry your skis on the bike?
Close Mike...March in like a lion out like a lamb...April showers bring May flowers...Thunder Bay, always shitty Snowing here too
nice meeting you too!
And PIE don't forget PIE
Someone really needs to get out today and photograph their bike with this heavy wet snow which fell last night. That would be a great picture!
I think we all need to buy Ural side car rigs.
Just half of you do. They have a side car.
Removed side panel to keep from looking like KTM.
Need to learn how to add photos, and ride KLR
Welcome to ADVrider. Don't worry in no time at all that bike will be well broken in, just don't try and keep up with Arrowheadrider. His KLR has a secret KTM seeking missiles. Mistakes happen.
I believe it just arrived about 14 days ago, its almost a new born. Nice seeing the posting JR and good luck getting the endorsement!!
Man, I looked at the 10 day forecast a few days ago and thought for sure I'd have the KLR out soon. Now, it seems, I was being a bit optimistic. Snowy and thirties for a week or better. Soon, though. Soon.
And on another note: I think I'd like to host a meet and greet early in the riding season. A Duluth-based day of moto riding, food, and a tasty beverage or three. A stop at Aerostich for anyone that needs to visit. Plenty of room at my place, with a deck and a trusty grill. My initial thought was on a Saturday in mid-May or thereabouts. Possibly a little sooner. I'll look at my schedule and post up a notice/invite soon. Open to all--Come on down !!
Interesting KTM info, in case you haven't seen it....
Yes, a short but sweet ride today...
Somebody turn up the heat please...
Man that sun is getting serious. Let the meltdown commence ! Looks like more snow is coming, though. I'd still like to eke out a few more ski days, but I'm getting ready to just be done. Way to get out there and bag some miles !!
I'm jealous... Every day that I see water dripping off the roof, I look at my jacket and helmet hanging in the closet and tell them that I will dust them off soon!
C-Zulu, our Adventures will definitely have to meet once the big melt commences, mine is just a pup, so hopefully yours can teach it something good
Ran in to this on Adv here: http://advrider.com/forums/showthread.php?t=632804
Now, for some vacation time.
That looks inviting for sure..
