This thread contains actual as ridden GPS Tracks for several Multi-Day Northern Nevada Rides. They have been filtered to meet the size limitation of AdvRider but the un-filtered versions are usually available on GpsXchange.com in Private Libraries.

If you would like to put together your own Multi-Day ride in Nevada (or other western state) I also have a file of almost every gas-to-gas dirt route in Nevada called the Statewide Motorized Trail System (SMTS) posted on GpsXchange.com

NOTE: This is intended to be a reference data only thread not endless discussions, so PLEASE put any questions or comments in another stand alone Thread. Thanks.

    West Toiyabe 4-Day Ride

This was a 4-Day ride done in 2009, we stayed in motels each night. We had a chase truck that provided gas in Belmont and at Rest Stop. We were all A Enduro riders on serious Dual Sport bikes. It stages in Gabbs and goes to Austin the 1st day, then to Belmont the 2nd, with a loop out of Belmont the 3rd day, and back to Gabbs the 4th day.

    Dirt Middlegate-Ely (Along Highway 50) 6-Day Ride

This was a ride we did in 5-Days in 2011. When over, I realized that it really needed 6-Days so I added a day to the original data so you will notice non-contiguous dates. We stayed in motels each night. We had a chase truck that provided gas at Carroll Station and in Kingston. It uses all the best routes I had previously scouted that basically parallel Hwy 50. We were all A Enduro riders on serious Dual Sport bikes.

It staged from Middlegate and goes to Austin the 1st day with gas & Lunch from truck at old Carroll Station on old Hwy 50. The 1st day goes by several Pony Express stations including the hard to find Cold Springs one. It uses miles of great trail riding in the Desatoya Mts. The 2nd day it goes to Eureka with gas from truck in Kingston. The 3rd day goes to Ely with gas/lunch in Lund. The 4th day is the Gem of the trip, it is a loop out of Ely with gas/lunch in Lund but spends most of the time going by every mine in the Hamilton/Belmont area. The Belmont Mill and tram from the Mary Ellen mine is fantastic. The 5th day goes back to Austin with gas/lunch in Eureka and parallels Hwy 50 using lots of the original Lincoln Highway. The 6th day quick 1/2 day back to Middlegate.

    Toiyabe Ranges 5-Day Ride

This was a 5-Day ride done in 2017 by some Washington friends (KarmaSect). They stayed in motel 1 night but camped the others which meant they rode with big loads as they had no chase truck.

Their full Ride Report is http://advrider.com/index.php?threa...ntains-valleys-and-atomic-bomb-sites.1259175/

They staged from Eureka and the 1st day rode many of my Hamilton/Belmont waypoints then gas/lunch in Lund then to a camping spot. On Day 2 they found an old 1950s underground atomic test site then to site of Tybo and very difficult canyon on way to Tonopah Motel. Day 3 was to camp site at historic Berlin after gas/lunch in Gabbs and tour of Ione. Day 4 took them over Ophir pass to Carvers for gas/lunch then thru town of Belmont to Diana's Punch Bowl and to a camp site. Day 5 went to Austin for gas/lunch and back to Eureka.

    Oregon Owyhee 4-Day Ride

This was a 4-Day ride done in 2016 by the same Washington friends (KarmaSect). It is mostly S/E Oregon but comes so close to Nevada it counts.

They camped which meant they rode with big loads as they had no chase truck. I think it took them 2 years to finalize the loop

Their full Ride Report is: http://advrider.com/index.php?threads/se-oregon-and-owyhee-canyon-loop.1211017/

They stages out of Burns Or, the 1st day had gas at the Narrows then gas/lunch at Plush on way to camp site. The 2nd day got to camp site on Owyhee river with gas/lunch in Fields Station. The 3rd day followed the river with gas/lunch at Rome Station. The 4th day back to Burns with gas/lunch at Crane.

    Soldier Meadow rides

In 2004 shortly after I moved to Carson City my best friend Gil and I started doing rides to Soldier Meadow at least every year. Every so often we would organize a group ride for our A Enduro rider friends on Dual Sport bikes.

In 05 we did the first large group ride. We staged from just outside the reservation at Nixon, you can't leave truck in the Res. Rode to Gerlach for lunch then on to Soldier Meadows. This was back when Soldier Meadows was a great Dude Ranch with full service. Meals were great. The second day we made a loop up Hi Rock Cyn to Virgin Valley and back. Next day a loop up to Onion Reservoir and back. The fourth day back to Nixon.

In 06 & spring 07 we made two scouting trips to find more of the good stuff.

In 07 we staged a group ride from Gerlach to add more of the good stuff including Hi Rock on the way to Soldier Meadows. The next day we did the loop to Virgin Valley with almost no graded roads. The next day we did a loop to Denio and back that included the new thru road to Knot Reservoir. The last day was fast way on the Plya.

In 08 we again staged a group ride in Gerlach but rode past Hi Rock lake to Soldier for lunch/gas then on to Denio. The next day we rode a loop to McDermitt and back. Then a samo fast way across the Plya to Gerlach.

I expect i'll get a lot of new information and ideas from this thread :evil
Seems proper to contribute something to the pot, so I offer up my 2016 Wander West trip.

GPX file includes the actual ridden tracks, plus a few planned options that were skipped for various reasons.
I trimmed it down to just the 8 days or so through NV, starting from Panamint Springs and ending in Lee Vining.
