No turkeys were hurt for our Thanksgiving. We're headed to Boston's Chinatown for lunch tomorrow. It's a tossup between Penang and China Pearl. :dg

I hope that it works out better than the 'gel sticks' they came out with a few years ago. Perhaps I expected too much, it did work .... just like plain old liquid locktite, but I was expecting it to be easier to use and that I would waste less. It was actually much harder to get just a little bit out for a small fastener and even if you 'turned it back in' it kept flowing so it was messy and wasteful, I wasn't sorry to go back to my 20 year old 'bottle'.
Hard to picture trying to wrap this new stuff around a 6mm screw and much like teflon tape I would have concerns about leaving any extending beyond the threads where it might 'wander off' and block an oil passage.
As companies try and stay 'ahead' they keep coming up with answers to questions I didn't ask but since it IS Locktite, I will probably 'have' to try it out at some point ..... just in case I need it.

I went to cut down the Christmas tree today. Could have taken the car. Instead, I headed up the dirt road then connected two trails to another dirt road to get to the tree farm. Cut down the 9' Balsam and packed it into the sidecar then took the trails back home. Tis the season :freaky. Enjoy it everyone!!!

Guy at work sez to me yesterday, "Saw your buddy this weekend..."

    "Yeah? Who's that?"

"Dunno. Guy on a camo Ural with a Christmas tree going by out in the woods."

He was out on a Class VI somewhere. :lol3:lol3:lol3

Was he in a Black Jeep? If that was him please give him my thanks for pulling over on the trail to let me by. There wasn't a good spot for me to stop and I was on a rocky ascent with the no-lo-gear Ural. I couldn't wave because of the rocks and upcoming turn but I tried to nod as I squeaked by his door. :lol3
