Does anyone have recent *first-hand* knowledge of its condition? The WMNF forest road site says it is closed, but goes on to say the road is in rough condition, travel cautiously. So, it's open and rough or closed, take your pick? :lol3

It was open a month or so ago when we did WHACO. Road conditions were typical of years past

Not me. That's when I do my best tagging. No need to clean the bugs off the face shield, ya know.

Brown Santa was here this morning:

So, I ordered these about a month ago and they ended up being on backorder :ddog. Then when they came in, UPS lost them :baldy . After 3 calls to Bike Bandit, one to UPS, and almost 30 days, they finally arrived. Now I just need some time to try them out....

I wanted to but we just got back from 10 days in AZ for a wedding and a little bit of Vacation... I've got some catching up to do. May try to do the July date, though.

I bought a pair of these a couple weeks ago. Superb boot, I am very happy with mine. They arrived on a Friday and I was leaving the house at 6:30 AM the next morning wearing them. I think Sidi's break in process involves opening the box, popping the tags, and inserting you's feets. Done.

Rained pretty darn hard that first weekend out.. feet were dry and very happy.

They do squeak like a mofo though. I cannot sneak in/out of the office early/late anymore!!!

One of the guys at work says he can hear me getting off the bike in the parking lot.

Solid boots though. They are now my go-to pair.

Get a louder pipe and don't ride with earplugs. The squeaking will eventually become unnoticeable. :1drink
