May" ride that four of os went on.

80% of the routes I have gone through on the XRL are do-able on the big bikes, theres always an alternate way to get somewhere.

Thanks for adding in Hekto! I just replaced my hard drive, and alot of my pictures are still on the old one...

I think between Hekto, Steve and I, we can keep everyone entertained, without having to hurt the bigger bikes. Theres always alternate routes,
where some can go one way, and the rest can meet us at the other end, without killing themselves.

Just found this thread. I would be interested in participating in a group ride if I can get the time off. Summer is busy for me and I find it difficult to plan more than long weekend. Let me know the proposed itinerary and I might be able to work it in.

If you can't attend the spring IceBreaker Ride, then maybe the Summer one will line up with your schedule.

Good to hear from you Richard! I was hoping you would find this thread!

I was thinking of a three day weekend...it would be too hard to organize this many people otherwise.

Hekto: Spring Icebreaker Ride! I like that. It has a name.

Hehe that is how I convinced her to let me buy the bike. We had a kid last November. I had tried to buy a bike the summer she was pregnant but responsibility got the best of me. Well during the winter I was doing the good dad thing, getting up lots for night feedings, changing poopy diapers and generally helping wherever I could. Well all that hard work payed off. In spring she said that I should go buy a bike as a reward for being such a good dad. So the moral of the story is "Have a kid, Get a Bike" My little girl is now 1 and I would trade 100 bikes for her. I can hardly wait for her to be old enough to go on rides with me.

P.S. A 3 day long weekend thing would be perfect.

All my kids are grown up, so I get to be a really old, irresponsible, teenager again!

Luckily, I'm quite good at it.

I went from 230lb to 195....that was the deal to get my bike 2 years ago.

The deal was also to keep off the weight..which is a bit of a challenge...so better get back on the wagon before this ride gets nixed.

Trying to post pic of the baby on a CRF but it's not resizing properly....will keep trying.

Well, the CRF pic will have to wait...but this one is pretty good too. This was taken during the summer...maybe at 4 months? As you know, they change every single day...so it's hard to keep track.
