Ron seeing the old ice breaker pics from 09 reminded me of you and your wife's generosity with putting me up in your home and your trailer for my first real visits to Dryden. Lay off the cigars and get well!

Or can't you see over the wall of snow out there :eek1

I don't even know what to say! :huh Hard to tell right now but there's over a foot of snow from last night and it's almost a whiteout right now :eek1

My fence posts are 42" out of the ground and there's only a few inches showing now!

They have been predicting a year that will drop the sizeable deer herd that has been growing over the last number of years. I think this will be it. Have seen a few around Dryden and they are looking pretty gaunt. Even if the does make it fawns born early will not survive.

Put the snowblower away last week. Didn't think I'd need it the 3rd week in April:cry

Next week is supposed to warm up a bit. There won't be much dust on the bush roads when it melts:rofl

I'm in Ottawa visiting Ron. I can assure you all he is feeling well enough to be a pain and is mercilessly harassing the nurses. And talking about riding this summer.

Speaking of more winter. Get better there Ron! If you had to be flat on your back in April.....you picked the right one!

Gord, we might want to do the icebreaker a week later? Or a month later?
    Cheers all

So far, the invitation is still open at my place. I don't think I'll be able to make it due to health issues...but you never know.

Your not missing much here Ron! 16" of snow and 4' snow drifts...pathetic :huh Took me 3 hours to blow out 90% of the driveway...crazy stuff!

Up to over 3 and a half feet of snow in the yard with everything threatening to collapse under the weight of the snow...and it's April 19th :huh

I'm just not going to bother to think about spring anymore :cry

Hope you have some plywood for us to pitch our tents above the snow. Or you could build a few igloos so we can leave our tents at home.
