Can't say much...rode a Burgman 2 up across the country, two up. And down the Missippippi River. That was a bit damp, though.

Mrs Backroader's. It's an awesome starter bike. ( I ride it more than her)

Sorry to all the Burger owners, but I really prefer a "real" scooter like this one or a Vespa! Roman Holiday, and all. Can't picture Audrey Hepburn on a Bergman!

Saw lots of pirate ships heading west today.... a Sturgis is calling them home!

Watched a pair pull out to pass a motor home and the second bike came very close to becoming a casualty. He needed to better compensate for the noise to horse power ratio before attempting a down hill with the wind pass...:rofl

Between Sturgis and the BMW rally there are/were a lot of folks heading west around the big lake. Staying next to a bunch of hog riders from NCarolina tonight. Good bunch. One guy said "I have a Harley because I always wanted one but I miss my Kawasaki for the power".

Hello... as a recent KLR650 rider in NWO, I am finally connected with y'all.
Let me know what local rides may occur in the TBay area... be great to hear options of rides over the season remaining.

A shout-out to the helpful gang at Jones' Motorsports in Wawa. My pal Gus and I popped in today on our KTM 1190 R's. I needed help and got it. My fancy-schmansy LS2 modular helmet de-latched at speed, wouldn't latch. So they sold me a Polaris sled helmet. And as a favor. They are shipping my crippled helmet back home. And they gave us a very cool off road (sled) route to Dubreuilville. Very challenging and way fun.
    Ted
By the way. The Jones' shop dog 'Storm' was worth the stop.
