If you want to do it at my house, you can do it all here in one stop. In Stafford.
Just ordered some chain lube, a grunge brush, tire irons, a big fat c-clamp, a valve tool, and a Continental Road ATTACK! front tire. Now I wait...
What kind of beer did you get>??
We are Washington Area Trail Riders now. The Spring Trail ride is on and will be better than ever! Tell all your riding buddies to come out and enjoy the day for a good cause!
Alright, I'm sure I'll get many opinions on this, but I have to ask. I've never had alcohol in my life, but in May I'm having a beer in honor of my friend from the army getting his commission as an officer. But that's beside the point...
If I'm ever bringing beer to a party, garage, get together, etc. as a token of good will, what is a safe bet to bring? I don't want to show up with 6 bottles of piss. What would you consider the most liked (on average) beer?
I am a fan of Smithwick's and Newcastle. There are lots of good microbrews available these days but I generally will buy and drink those myself. Some are amazing, some suck balls! As long as you take something above piss water, the people at the party probably won't complain.
H14 would say any Coors product. (But he's a company man.)
I'd probably just go to Martin's or some other store that will let you mix individual bottles and create my own 6-pack. Me personally I'd go with a couple Blue Moons, a couple Sam Adams, and a couple Fat Tire's.
Haha. Hey if you are not drinking why brig beer unless its as a token of appreciation. Then it all depends on what they like. I'm sure most (decent) people will appreciate anything really. If a person likes micro brews you could always go with a growler. Choices are endless.
I'm a big fan of India pale ales myself but will drink anything but a pils.
I'm always appreciative when people invite me into their garages for a 'fun' time...
Oh boy, that's a loaded question! But I guess I'll throw my 2 cents in.
Personally, I'm a fan of the imports; just about any beer from Belgium will do for me, but then again, I may be biased......
Nothing wrong with going local - DC Brau and Port City have a good selection (sipping on Port City Tartan Ale right now). I'm a big fan of Port City's Optimal Wit.
Seriously, go local. The above, or Lost Rhino are all great. OR, if you wanted to do something really special, there are a couple small places that don't bottle, you would have to get a growler, but it would be a good bet most people at your friend;s party hadn't had their beer yet.
For an easily found common beer, I would say Sierra Nevada Pale Ale. Lots of good taste and not super hoppy which seems to throw off those who prefer piss beers.
Anyone been to that brew place over by five guys off waxpool rd in ashburn? Any good? What's it like?
I assume you are referring to Lost Rhino. It is excellent
Yes, yes it is, Ali approves. . ..
Ali liked their beer, but the food..... well, let's just say he prefers Chick-Fil-A
Ali likes pie as well!
And, apparently, staying out in the cold. . ..
