    Free tires...

Changing the road/off-road percentage on the tires of my project bike to accommodate the amount of street riding I'm going to be doing to get to fire roads, etc. I have a Kenda 5.10X18 and a Dunlop 606 90/90x21 if anyone wants them for their dirt-oriented bikes. The Kenda looks squared-off in the photo, but it was fine--and round--when it was actually mounted on a wheel and inflated. The Dunlop has some visible "feathering," on the lugs from braking on the street, but should be fine in dirt. If anyone wants them, I'm in Fairfax County...

If I can arrange child care this Saturday I probably will. That's pretty much the only reason I haven't.

I'm tempted, but you know how hard it is to get KLR people to spend money

You could think of it as an opportunity to get a pretty squared away Tu250x that has already had the two best mods done, and is nice and broken in, for a good price.

Somebody scored a great deal! Why did you sell it so cheap, or is that just the market for these? I would have figured at least $2-2.5K.

It was roughly on par with the market, considering it had about twice the miles of other bikes. I really just wanted it too go to a good home. Wasn't to keen on the idea of it just sitting in my garage till next spring, so I guess I was a bit of a motivated seller. Either way, I'm happy with what I got for it, and the buyer seemed happy with the transaction as well

Maybe a wee Strom would be a better bike for you.

Is that the pot calling the kettle black or maybe the poop calling the turd stinky?

    * I like both KLRs and Stroms. (No strong opinions on poops and turds)

Hey do you have some time to consult on DRZ jetting? Can pay in craft beer, etc.
