Additional clue, hope it's not too obvious
Bruce again! I must have checked the forum 2 minutes before you posted the grab. Oh well, lunch was Yummy!
Looks like XDragRacer is in on this grab along w/ Tupperware.
Grab: Laurel Hill Park, Furnace Road near Hooes Road intersection, Lorton, Va:
Tag to follow.
1,2,3... Speed tag rules are in play! Pretty impressive considering the can and rope technology used in the posting process. LOL
Tag: (ali is at the base of the sign, under the arrow, as pictured. park closes at 5:30 . . .. ):
Post-hide marked by "A":
From sign to bike:
And the big clue, looking left:
Yes - tag central is back!
He probably upgraded to using fishing line rather than string
If I'm right about the tag location, there's an admission fee for non-county residents. Although it seems hit or miss as to whether there is somebody there taking money. I don't think the wifey will be home in time to make the grab. I doubt they charge anything this late in the day.
Yes, I should have mentioned that. ET has a habit of having lunch before a tag, and paying admission to non-tag sites. . ..
I guess I omitted because there was no one to collect a fee when I placed the tag.
Yeah, but I don't know of any good restaurants around there. Although there is a Hooters on the way
Also, I suck at replying to PM's. Sorry for the dupes to anyone!

Recognized the sign from the pic...

Wasn't sure he was still there - he was well buried under the leaves
Ok - so Ali was cold .. he wanted to warm up. I figured some wine might warm him up, and on the way we found a great hiding spot. So we went to a nearby WINERY ... not far from the grab location ... and after we got some wine, we went ahead and doubled back a bit to the hiding spot Ali said it was PARADISE.
This hiding spot is off of 645 on a road whose three digits add up to 12.

(google maps doesn't list the 3 digit code of this road - so here's another clue - Socrates might not like the name of the park that this road leads to).
As soon as you turn onto the road whose three digits add up to 12 from 645, look for the following location on the right... its about 1/4 mile.
<a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/83099860@N07/8197347776/" title="IMG_0014 by email@example.com, on Flickr"><img src="http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8342/8197347776_4e72410df5.jpg" width="500" height="375" alt="IMG_0014"></a>
The gate should remain open and unlocked as I've never seen it locked. Ali is tucked away by the front left leg of the tower in the above pic.

Enjoy... great area to ride as there are plenty of twisty roads around the area.
HW -- nice grab and tag!
12515 Yates Ford Road, Clifton, VA (or there about). The little guy is on the topcase in the pic. Tag coming soon!
rabble, mumble, grumble,....
I was going to get that after work!!
But seriously, good grab!
BTW, did you get the Socrates clue for "Hemlock"?
Glad you looked before you left work! I had no paper with which to leave a Brucing! If it is any consolation, I was stuck behind a school bus all the way down Clifton Rd
The hint about the Hemlock poison I actually did get! For some strange reason, I remembered that from an English class and the fact that I have actually been to the park. Took me a few minutes to cull the pertinent information, though.
