Yuck! RLD ! I'll pass but will be out riding again today
Ali's current location remains within the boundaries stated in Post # 1 of this thread, available for grab and following tag location of the grabber's choice.
Yeah maybe so but I still don't do RLD on a bike, having to stop and put your foot down is contrary to the fundamental laws of motoring by two wheeler!
Had occasion to check Ali today; yep! Still there!
Actually, Ali, "showed some leg," as daring ladies once did in a more innocent age. The planter where Ali rests is filled with bark mulch; perhaps wind blew the ballast around and uncovered the limb. I covered Ali back up with bark fragments, but provided no insurance the unmasking might not happen again.
I did NOT re-position Ali in a more secure location; the activity might have drawn more attention (and possible consequent MIA event) than wind-blown bark cover.
So, . . . if you've an inclination to grab Ali, please do it soon. No need providing some stranger with an alligator Christmas tree ornament!
Visited Ali today; seemed o.k.; hasn't been appropriated for someone's Christmas tree ornament so far!
Ali was annoyed, awakened from an intended LONG WINTER'S NAP. The reptile complained, "Can't you tell, I'm trying to HIBERNATE?????????"
Ali asked why no one had come to grab. I had no satisfactory explanation, only remarking, "Inmates are the MASTERS of excuses!"
Here's hoping someone grabs Ali before the alligator appears on the menu of the nearby Boulevard Café!
Ali rests outside a building housing health-care facilities. While under treatment there, I mentioned to the staff I had "planted" an alligator outside the building, but I remained unsure whether the reptile was still in place.
"No problem," my health-care professional said. "We'll just make an X-Ray image of the flower bed for you!"
Here's the result, confirming Ali's presence:
FULL DISCLOSURE: Actually, detail from image by Steve Miller, The Washington Post, December 15, 2017; p. 23, "Weekend" Section. Low-tech, tactile examination shows Ali still in place.
GRAB: 8180 Greensboro Dr. Tysons Corner.
Tag coming soon...

Nice going, zack753!
Upset by the fact that gators don't get to fly south to avoid the cold and wet, Ali decided to find a nice dry spot to observe some humans migrating for the winter.
Ali hides between the sign and it's frame, bottom right of 1st pic.
Enjoy the holidays, folks.

Christmas Eve Grab: Manassas Regional Airport . . .. (I've always liked a tag with a map!)
Looking to Holiday Ali's Christmas tree hide:
Holiday Ali's holiday hide, marked with an holiday "A":
Merry Christmas folks! And a very healthy, happy and safe season to all.
Grab...and let go!
Been lurking here for a while and decided to jump in. Found Ali, sat next to the bike to start an advrider account...then realized I couldn’t post right away. Couldn’t post a grab so had to abort the mission!!! Would have hated for someone to show up without a “grab” posted.
So Ali is safely tucked back in where I found him. I’ll go back for him if no one beats me to it.
My name is Phil by the way, just moved to NoVA from New Hampshire.
Welcome ! We need more players ! Be ready for nova exploration !
I’m Zach btw..
Thanks Zach! Been ogling your bike by the way. I believe that’s my next setup...love it.
Welcome. Pace is slower in the cooler months, but props for the consideration! Regrab and tag at will! Welcome to the madness.
I really enjoy the versatility of the SM!
Grab!!! (for real this time)
After a long winter’s slumber, Ali needed a proper cup of coffee. Being my first try at this I wanted a secure location. What better than a former Army base and NSA listening site...a very unlikely spot for a coffee shop
He’s in a bit of a “prickly” situation!
Nice spot !
Crap, I cut back on beer
