I took a ride last weekend with a friend who took me around Barkhamstead reservoir and out to Colebrook lake up and around through lower MA. It was a great ride. Colebrook was great also. I have a picture of a steel bridge that because of the drought hasn't been seen in 60 years. Also ran a road that hasn't been exposed for about the same amount of time. I was looking at the GPS to see if this road was an alternate of route 8 and saw I was actually driving through an area that was supposed to be underwater. And is most of the time for the last 50 or 60 years. All of this information and pictures I have at home and can't access the GPS route or pictures right now or I would send them to you. Shouldn't be that hard to figure though. Let me know if you need more information and I'll try to supply it.

This is a silly question but I'm coming up in brideport ferry ..I live in port Jefferson and there is no freaking legal dirt roads or trails to ride so I would love to know we're some of those dirt roads are to ride ....I recently purchased a new klr 650 and am sick of looking out for cops

do you have a gps. there's a file in the early posts. a smart phone will work also, but I don't know how to do that.

    in 3 weeks there's a neat event.

Thanks again for tracking out this route. Anytime I'm board and I find myself near it, like today I hop on. Rode my favorite part [IMG]

And ended up at toymakers. Great day for a ride.

Rode this track this morning north to south and than looped back up to Great Barrington. Really fun ride. Went around a road closed sign on Kent Rd which just was a washed out gravel road nothing crazy. Mt Easter Rd was fun wish it kept going. Thanks for putting this together.
