We went down to the Post Falls dam on Monday. The gates were shut, so there were no dramatic ice photos. I still managed to get a few decent shots of the frost, despite the less than optimum drab, mid-day lighting.
It's too bad the gates weren't open. When it gets cold like this the Post Falls Dam can be pretty dramatic.

Too bad it was before the ice formed.
The cold sure does make some interesting frost
If all else fails Couer d' Alene Lake is always good.
