I really like this picture!
Thanks for posting it.
Sounds like fun
Wind surfer in Port Angeles, WA Saturday morning.
From today at Diamond Mill
Nice shot's. Looks like a great place to ride.
Nice pics NW Scout! Looks like a great ride!
Man.yesterday was a BEAUTIFUL day!
Went for a 100 mile ride today, back into the same area. Here's that little lake again. Photo taken about 5 pm so the lighting was pretty good. HDR photo using Pro HDR on my iPhone 4S.

great shots, Tom, NWscout
The weather was looking nice last Friday and Saturday, so I took a day off work and headed to the Olympic Peninsula.
The fog was just lifting from the Deception Pass bridge.
"Ramming speed, captain!"
This is where the Elwha Dam used to be. In less than a year salmon have started swimming upriver where none have for over 100 years!
Did someone say SILT? Several million cubic yards have already washed down river and there's more to go.
Lake Crescent at the Lodge. What a great way to spend a weekend. And yes, that's all my luggage - I've finally learned to travel light!
Even the rain forest looks beautiful when the sun shines!
The Straits of Juan de Fuca, with Vancouver Island in the background.
I need to do this more often...
350 miles, great roads (forgot how insane Hwy 112 is!), great food in PA, and only a blown fork seal. A few weeks for repairs and time to do it again.
Good RR and pictures Chuckanut
That looks like a great way to spend a weekend, Tom. Thanks for taking us along for the ride.
OPB had a special on that dam removal a few weeks ago. Looks good
I was just learning about the Elwha Dam in my F&W Conservation class at Oregon State. Very cool to hear that salmon are going upriver again!
Very nice! A plated 650R would be SO much fun... Lighter weight and more power than my XRL would be nice. But I do love my XRL a lot...
But can the XRL do this?
I love the photos here, but is it necessary to quote back a big, long post full of photos only to add ONE line of text?
