We really shouldn't show pictures with bikes in them at cool NorthWet places..
Took these Friday in town out here in Forks on the Olympic Peninsula. I have lived here my whole life and I will never get tired of seeing them.
One of the things that makes the great Northwest great is the rain, although sometimes it gets a bit much in the winter.

What you don't see is the hoards of Japanese tourists to my right trying for the same pic. (hoards! I tell ya)
Those NorthWet girls are cute but smell a little funny. (spend enough nights out on the road and even that goes away)
Oh and the place is full of tree huggers! (caught this one in the actual act)
I think it's time to turn off the porch light and lock the doors!
Why yes, yes we do have cool critters! This pic was taken from my sailboat in the Straight of Juan De Fuca. Beautiful place to sail!
Northwet is great. I love these foggy, cold riding conditions.
When the sun comes out, half the sky is still overcast. . Good for photgraphy.
Amazing place, brings out the colors in everything.
City is mostly under a cover of fog, did i mention that i love foggy weather :)
Lummi Island. Yea, we have too many islands in the PNW and you can only ride at 45 mph max. Too slow a speed for other riders.
Then of course there's the Tulip Festival in Mount Vernon which only happens in April for a month. Not worth coming over for a short bloom (the festival runs for a month but the tulips only bloom for a week or two before they are cut and exported).

And our river crossings are a bitch, you will need to invest in the biggest motorcycle you can get to make it... (Those aren't panniers they are pontoons to help float the bike across)
And there is no good singletrack!
Rabid deer, yes we have rabid deer and bears and cougars that will eat you, stay away... (just look into those eyes fearsome I say,,, it's saying what's your favorite color - blue no I mean green - aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaawwww!)
