Went on a solo ride today, as a silent protest of Black Friday
Due to the warm & wet weather we have been having, I encountered several flooded roads and the rivers are running high. Snow is much higher than normal, so I got to play in areas that are normally off limits this time of year because of snow/ice.
Good news is that they fixed the washed out section of NFS 23
Harvesting a christmas tree in Sedro Woolley
So happy they finally got the 23 road opened again!!
Just in time for snowmobile / snowbike season.
I'm old enough to remember when Metsker had a chain of retail map stores--a dream shopping destination for us lovers of paper maps. Of course, the internet put an end to that, though they have two retail locations still alive and a cool web store -- http://www.metskers.com/. I'm sure I have at least 100 paper maps in my collection purchased from Metskers!
Switched jobs and now I get to cycle through which ever bike of mine I want to ride for the day.... Can't explain the happiness that follows! Things are getting great!
^^yeah well,, I woodna ridden THAT bike on THAT day,,just sayin,,,
O-8,,I see the speed limit sign,,yer good to go!
Love those little Camp Robbers....
I hope it wasn't as hard to get this out of the snow as it looks. Oofta!
This is awesome. Talk about trust...or hunger!
