Last August (2013) more or less spontanously I went on a 2 1/2 week motorcycle tour (solo) from Cologne (Germany) to Norway. I didn't have any plans exept from my wishes to ride and maybe to got to the Vesteralen Islands and do some whale watching there. Finally I found myself riding all the way up to the North Cape. I pretty much enjoyed this tour, encountering with people and nature, flora and fauna, the sun and the cold, camping, riding... Now I started putting some of the pictures and film material that I took during my trip into a little series of small videos to share them with others. It is not finished yet (so there are still some more to come), but here are the first two videos I'd like to share. Hope you enjoy and maybe get inspired a little...

I was in Norway in August also, attending a vintage Motorcycle Rally Near Valldal and Trollstigen. We did not have the luxury of time at our disposal, so carried bikes in a truck from Hamburg and back.

Norway is magical. Will you be posting any photos?

    Thanks.

    Thanks for all your replies!

No, it's not the end of the story, of course not :-). I'm sorry for the interruption. I have already finished the German version of part three, but cought a cold and hence my voice was not a voice for speaking comments on videos.for some days. Hope to finish the English version fo part three this weekend.

For those interested: this is the German version of part 3:

    Ulrike,

Your report is excellent in every way. The still photos embedded in the video are very well composed, the music is perfect for the visuals & your English is, if anything, too perfect. Most of us native English speakers are much less clear & precise in our pronunciation. (We all become lazy in our own languages.) Which camera did you use for the still photos? They are outstanding. You have a good eye. I only hope your gear testing can result in a lighter load on your next trip. Gut gluck und danke!
