Yes. And proud of it. The only real problem with pollution and global warming is that there are too many people in the World. So my conclusion is that we Boomers had too many children like you Sir. :jump

Now we've really gone too far off topic but it has been fun. So take your final shot at me and I'll try to shut up. Maybe.

I am highly allergic to bee stings. When I was in North Dakota, stationed at Minot AFB, I was riding to town, to visit my wife, and raised my face shield to scratch my nose. When I did a bee flew into my helmet. I had visions of my head/face cartooning itself out of my helmet's openings. I was doing about 70mph. I managed to get stopped. Having pulled off the road, I began to attempt to SLOOOOWWWLLLY begin to remove my helmet. Every movement caused a buzzing on the back of my head. Heart thumping, sweat pouring, I worked the helmet off of my head. Fortunately, I wasn't stung. The bee flew away. I then made an attempt to determine how to clean my undies beside the road. I cannot begin to express how terrified I was.

Exactly. We were both born in '59. Strangely, we met here in Georgia, of all places.

Note to self: when your throttle side heated grip stops working about the same time you get hit by the wave created by a passing truck don't assume that the two things are related.
Or that the usual problem of the throttle side wearing out where the cable mates to the grip.
All of last winter I kept putting it off until I had spare parts to swap out for whatever was faulty.
Monday I started dismantling to do some basic tests, like swapping the leads to see if it is the grip or the controller.
Very first connector, one pin has fallen out. Click it back in and all systems are go.

Bloody nice riding through the first frost of the season with warm hands.

Never have. I do carry benedril, just in case. Haven't had to use that either. I am extremely cautious. Have been stung a few times since then, benedril seemed to do the trick. I am probably not as allergic as I once was. But, I have thought about it.

I think the island that the bomb was tested on is still very contaminated due to how small the charge was it was pretty much just a dirty bomb. That test is actually what the video game fallout used as there template for the bombs dropped in the war that sets the landscape for the radioactive wasteland.

Don't forget the guy in front of you who tosses his still burning cigorate out the window, I had a pretty good burn from that one. And my wife once came home with mustered allover her jacket where someone tossed a sandwich out the window on the highway.

It's usually the other way around where you become more sensitive wih every exposure. I have been administered epinephrine once in my life to give my heart a kickstart and to bring my BP back up. I was approaching decompensated hypovolimic shock and they gave me epi in the iv along with blood and fluids. I got to read the care report from my wreck.

I've thought about carrying one for others. Breaks my heart when a little one dies because nobody has one. My first aid instructor carries two. He had a case where one wasn't enough.

The cure for the burn is to get a nice cigar butt going and when they stop at a red light pull up beside them and if their window is rolled down toss it in the car on their lap.
    Theh may get the message.

Can you still get a Medihaler-EPI in the US? Withdrawn in Australia years ago but easier than the pen and multiple doses if away from civilisation.

We haven't had them since befor I started in medical 3 years ago. That said if you have used both doses befor we get to you then you have a problem. That said I get to push epi on a iv as a emt in the state of Co and if it's something I can give we all run as ALS units around here so my medic can give other drugs.
