After a year in NOVA, I've finally given up on the local mechanics and I'm trying to work on my GS myself. I met another guy on a GS in Loudoun (he lives in Winchester), but I forgot his name and lost his number. Anyway, he said locals get together and work on their bikes. Does this happen? How do get an invite?

Oh yeah, any suggestions for food in Luray that won't make me sick when I get back on my bike?

We used to get together at my house when I lived in Winchester and I was the guy you met onthe gravel road that day. I was on the black Adventure and you were on the Silver GS.

I have since relocated to Blacksburg area. We still try to get together at the Poonderosa in Charlottesville. I am sure Harpoon will not mind you dropping by. Send a PM to Harveymushman. He is in Ashburn and is pretty handy with service work.

Stay in touch and watch the east forums for wrenching sessions.

Or if you can get away, we are getting together at my house this weekend if you can get out for a road trip. Only 200 miles from Winchester area.

IIRC you live in MIddleburg area?

there's a coffee shop on Main street. I forget the name. if you come into town from 211 on Business 340, hang a left on Main and you'll see it about a block on the left.

The Mimslyn Inn has a great brunch on the weekends. it the other direction on Main.
