This would be a good thing providing it's not too expensive.

Now that is exceptionally good news! I remember the Scotia Prince fondly.

I'm excited. I took the ferry back from NS a few years ago after riding the Cabot Trail on my Ducati. Saves you a good solid day of slab on the trip between Nova Scotia and Boston... I'm sure I'll be making the crossing next summer for some more adventure-oriented NS travel.

I'll be interested to see what the pricing looks like. Hopefully it's reasonable enough that my cheap-arse will be willing to pay to cut out the extra day of riding.

Nice to have the option again!

Makes sense that the cargo usage will be much lower than between England and France.

Big question to me is how much $$ for a ticket with a moto?

Outstanding, about time, especially for the folks in SW Nova Scotia who benefit from the tourist bucks. Also will reopen tons of riding that's easy to bypass heading to Cape Breton and Newfoundland. I'm in!

    I sure don't!
The one time I took it the seas had nearly everyone on board sick the entire time. Something about the frequency and direction of the waves making the boat roll funny because it was a cat. It was an altogether unpleasant experience.
I don't get sick on boats, but that was as bad as I've ever felt. I recall looking at the turbulence behind the boat thinking that floating down there, alone in the Atlantic, might be preferable to this feeling ...

I'll take 9 hours in a regular hull before I do a large cat again.
