thanks........I need a fat guy to break in the seat for me........its like a frying pan. Gelseats.com may be getting a visit from me soon. The jackleg I bought it from screwed the title all up so I have to go back to fairfax tomorrow to get a new title. He printed his name in the wrong place AND accidentally checked the box that the mileage wasn't correct. Of course I didnt realize it til I got to DMV later that day and 80 miles away.

I did that when I sold my last van. :doh
That sucked as I had to go to the DMV at 12:05 on a Saturday because the buyer got to my house to buy the van at 11:45 knowing the DMV closed at 12.
Then I had to apply for a new title and then sign the new title over to the buyer. They had closed the doors at 12 but the buyer was already there and slipped me in through the side door. :evil
I couldn't just scratch over the mistake and initial it. At least the DMV is only a five minute drive...

ya.......they put two boxes there and if you check either one you are wrong. I guess "doing nothing" is DMV's idea of correct!

thanks for the congrats.......I got to ride it (somewhere other than 66) today. Its pretty sick. It loves to wheelie. I actually have to make an effort NOT to wheelie. It could use a steering stabilizer. Shes a little twitchy cornering at low speeds. As for the seat.......100 miles with my boney ass did it some good. It sucked sitting still on 66 for 70 miles, but the back roads (shifting weight) it didn't feel too bad. I need to find an exhaust now. Its too quiet if I can here my cell phone ringing! :ricky

why? I am not sure I understand the need for a map of where I have already been.......

duplicate tags dont bother me and I am sure the business owners wont mind. BUT......I am always open to suggestion......Explain and I might take the time to make a map. The game is still young!:ear

it's not about duplicate tags, some of us don't live up there and a map would help us find those places when we are up there. :D :dg

and trust me, it's far easier to create the map when the game is young :lol3 BTDT. :lol3

    RTE Tag-O-Rama map

I made this map so anyone can edit but can't seem to figure out how to edit it unless I'm logged onto Google. Hmmm....

EDIT: Unless you're logged onto Google...

I'll be in on this as soon as possible, but it'll probably be a few weeks, and will take the perfect storm of weather, work schedule, family life, disctance to the tag from Greene county, and just the right establishment.

Not sure what I like better, the pics of Jamie, the food, or the bikes. Double bonus points for a single pic with all three (no photoshop)?

Keep'em coming while I lie in wait.

as we all know the tag was at Walkers Cash Store, corner of St Luke Rd & Back Road, Woodstock, VA.......picture to prove it.

we approached the cashier / owner I guess........... u guessed it, her name was Jamie!!! aka, Shannon. I told her in a firm voice, "I am here for the duck"..... after a short pause she got it down from the shelf and kindly posed for a picture with the Ol' Lady (is that the correct spelling?). Picture to prove it......

We arranged for some food and ordered the fish (cod) sammich and a chicken sammich with fries and drinks......5.99 each. Picture to prove it.

The food was SO tasty we ate it all, maybe 3 fries left I couldn't force down............scenery wasn't bad either. Picture to prove it........... :rofl:drif
    [IMG]

and with that we departed.............but not after hearing from Jamie Shannon how great everyone was from ADV Riders for coming there. She was very appreciative......
On the way out some guy pulls up and says, "hey, have you ridden Zepp Road". Thinking first he was asking my dumb ass for directions I replied with a simple "no". He then goes on to tell me I have to ride it and its just 3 miles away.............if you havent ridden it you must. Thanks to the stranger in the butt ugly deliver van for the tip.

    new tag coming next
